Luda that dude too smh..We all come from different walks of life but if we don't pull each other up and get off this "street bs" or "who's real or fake" and give props to the artist for what they put in the culture, then we all end up the sound from the rappers we got now.. we need that originality...it hit different when we get real music from a rapper being who they really is. B you know anything with No Limit is the best interviews hands down And I was just thinking bout what if X and Mystikal did a track together..picture the energy
I agree 100%. This may not be a popular opinion, but most of those NL albums didn’t stand the test of time sonically. But you are right. Everyone says Shawty Redd was the inventor of the Trap Sound but I always felt it was between 36 and Beats by the pound. Shawty Redds earlier production sounded very similar to Beats by the pound. IMO Beats by the pound are extremely underrated for their contribution to hip hop
I have always been fascinated with back stories on how songs came to be. Then when you hear that a certain beat was made for another artist, but the artist that took the beat and snapped on it it's hard to imagine how the intended artist could have made it better. I love X but it's hard for me to see how he would have made the beat work without slowing the tempo.
I got to go back and do some research on BBTP beats cause it's alot of hard ass tracks they produced we don't even know. From the north to the south east and west.
As a huge DMX who will always be my number 1 rapper, I think he would've bodied "Down 4 My N's". He would sound better on that than "Move B****". Overall, Beats By The Pound are underrated. That's how good hip hop in the 90s was. Nonetheless, RIP: DMX
DMX on MOVE B! I can totally hear it.
Or down for my niggas would of been 🔥🔥
Facts, sounds like he would be on it.
@@toreywatson6508 I always thought from day one that Down 4 Niggaz sounded like a Ruff Ryders/DMX beat.
Mystikal is the DMX of the South
@@wkatc007 I said the exact same thing.
Take i-20 verse off and add X 😩😩😩 damn ... Mystikal and X on the same track
RIP Magnolia Slim and DMX

I was always hyped for a DMX and Fiend collab once Fiend went to Ruff Ryders. I'm sad it never happened
Luda been comin up in a lot of B High interviews lately...It might be time to get Luda himself on the show
Exactly... Luda put on in a lot of ways for the South and in the game..in my opinion he don't get much props tho
@@mrctheofficial folks hold nuts on him cuz he wasn’t a “street nigga” rapper, when he should get more props for staying himself

DMX and Mystikal on the Move Bitch beat or maybe Luda too ..That Would have been Crazy..🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

DMX (RIP) would have ate that beat up
And yeah it's time to get Luda up in here for an interview. Definitely would be a classic

So Ruff Ryders fumbled the ball on BBTP. Typical industry politics!
🔥
How was Mystikal being lazy to record a 3rd verse when it was Luda's song? Since when do the guest have more verses than the featured office?
They could have split the 3rd, go back and forth
@@grafenbergs.9329 true, that could have been an option. But he should've said that, made it more clearer
The verse was supposed to be back and forth between Luda and Mystikal..

No disrespect to I 20 but could you imagine if Luda would’ve put Busta and Redman on instead...
