In the 80's it was a town. What happend that it became village? I lived there from 1981 to 1990. I attended school at Awgu Town School and we lived beside the stadium in one of the local goverment houses.
You didn't show the most beautiful part of Agwu - the area where the magistrate Court is, surrounded by a place called European quarters (where my family lived in the early 1970s) St Michael's School and it's catholic church, Girls High School Agwu, plus the local government headquarters perched on a hill, where you will behold in the distance, a range of hills with something that looks like an electrified fog in the center of the range of hills. It is one of the most beautiful sites I have ever beheld in my life
