@channelwilko yeah that's what I was wondering, whether the radio commission was used for the Boosh radio series... but there appears to be no documentation of what he did with it anywhere...
Julian's from Leeds too, my neck of the words and also the true capital of the UK, y'see London is a decoy and I only know this information because it was accidentally beamed into my brain during a routine cat scan.
@calumhm I've actually never seen Julian's stand-up 'til now, and I'm not quite sure how to feel, but I've seen Noel Fielding (the femme man you describe) and he's quite creative. He's very clever and creative, winding through stories and whatnot. It's a bit refreshing to see something different. But, mainly I like the two not for stand-up but for what they've managed to do with the Mighty Boosh. That's like imagination fuel. And they both seem like really nice people most can relate to.
oh, and check out my comedy trio, we have plenty of gigs coming up from now untill late November and beyond. Search for Found Objects Band in your TH-cam search bar and our podcasts on iTunes. also, check out our website foundobjectsband.co.uk... thanking you kindly xXx
@cidp012 In essence, I agree with what you said but at the same time there are comedy awards with judges... Though there are funny moments in this video I don't think he's as funny as he is with Noel and vice/versa. If Bill Bailey was doing a set and not just playing with his band, my PERSONAL TASTE would have led me to vote for him... each to their own, eh? Give all comedians a grand I say
@benwapples OMG! It must be, no-one elses hair hangs down like a shower curtain like that :) (before anyone jumps on me for that comment, see Part Troll)
@killapathy I know what you mean. I'm a matt berry and richard ayoade man myself, I don't see why people like Julian and the femeine guy (i forget his name) so much
Noel Fielding saw this comedian and thought... yep I need that in my life
this is exactly why they call him the northern bullet
"And remember don't be sad about the sad things in your life because there's always birds and trees and flowers! Goodnight" Love him.
Comin' atcha like a ray, like a beam! He's fast as lightning, he's frightening!
OWWW, chika chikaaa!
He looks so happy at the end. It makes me happy
It's hard to believe he's actually a very mellow and shy man lmfao.
he's so handsome
Yeah now I get why Noel was such a little fan boy before they actually started hanging out.
Thanks for this, I'd never seen him being announced as winner before :)
Julian's really peckin' at the boundaries there.
A peckin' and A swoopin'
2020 and it’s still the peak of comedy
Its ridiculous how awesome this is NOW. And it was made in 1995!
I love him, I love Noel. But Julian is so much funnier.
I like how he just started sauntering off at the end! Heading to the bar to start enjoying his grand!
he is too sweet!! XX
I LOVE HIM
watching this in 2021. is that Bill Bailey in the band? holy shit.
@channelwilko yeah that's what I was wondering, whether the radio commission was used for the Boosh radio series... but there appears to be no documentation of what he did with it anywhere...
he is SO handsome :D!!

"if you ever do this, right, don't." ah man.
no wayy 4:38. The cheeky badger himself; Bill Bailey!!
a. true. legend.
omg.....adorable!
aw! he just walked off the stage!
Ha! :D :'
It takes a lot of focus to fake being this jittery. Also, my god how long has Sandi Toksvig been around for?
A lot longer than this video dude.
(rhetorical question)
@@lpsp442 sorry, didn't see the rhetoric in it.
Accepted. As for rhetoric, the question format "how X has Y been a Z" is pretty basic, just means "I see Y has been Z for X".
@@lpsp442 cool reply, i see it now. 😁
At this time Julian wasn't doing just doing lines of blow. He was doing the whole plantation.
Just watching this again...
Check out Asylum, he plays the artist called Victor. He co stars with Simon Pegg, Jessica Stevenson, Adam Bloom, and Victor Lovett.
... and Bill Bailey on guitar!
Is he on speed?
Hamish Taylor-Law he is the speed

Jonny Atkin yes I think so hahah
Holy shit I can't believe I missed that, it's a blinker
fuck man that must be him!!! aaaaaa!
i kept expecting Noel to walk on at some point and tell him he's shit, but in a lovable way.
omgg he is hillarious!!!!
Gawd Barratt .. I loves ya!
I'm sad that so many people will just never get why this is as good as it is.
like a time bomb waiting to go off.
Fuck he's awesome. And so damn insane in this routine.

ANYONE SEE BILL BAILEY AT THE END ON THE GUITAR LOL !
What awesome wit. Now I understand why you're a fan of this brand of "comedy"
And just off to the side, a sneaky Bill Bailey
Was that Bariq-R’y-Ah?
Julian's from Leeds too, my neck of the words and also the true capital of the UK, y'see London is a decoy and I only know this information because it was accidentally beamed into my brain during a routine cat scan.
Is that Bill Bailey on the guitar???

Funny how he's now a bigger name than all of them...
oh, and check out my comedy trio, we have plenty of gigs coming up from now untill late November and beyond. Search for Found Objects Band in your TH-cam search bar and our podcasts on iTunes. also, check out our website foundobjectsband.co.uk... thanking you kindly xXx

eleventeen thumbs up from the whippet beans!!!
lol he's a great stand up xD noel said he was better lol but i still love noel's stand up xD
@ebeneezzer Who said I was a fan? In all honesty his standup stuff is a bit weak, but it doesn't mean you have to go badmouthing it.
Glad he chose acting
@metallicagal1 fanatic
@louphebe He needs Noel...or a Valium. lol
lol is it just me or does he look like gambit off xmen
He is like a machine gun of funny, but cocaine is a hell of a drug.
@ebeneezzer :'(
@ebeneezzer Oh grow up. If you don't like it, don't watch it. If you think you can do better, go do and achieve what Julian has.

It takes intelligence to make humour from ridiculous concepts.
What are these Wah wah pebbles of which he speaks?
Mia McGregor Wah Wah pedal. It's a guitar pedal, gives a Wah sound/effect.
tourette's
hahahah...why is pretending to have tourettes?
This has to be Elon Musk's kinda of comedy. 😂 love em both
oh man this is so dated
if he won that was the worst show ever! boosh 4 ever though.
If a standup comedian has a routine THAT shitty, it is absolutely my,and everyone else's right to badmouth it.
and YOUR stand-up is...? (would love to know if you are still living in your mum's basement)
Все ровно я незнаю англиский
He reminds me of Gambit in this video
Is that Bill Bailey on the guitar???
