Shiiiiit. At first when I heard this joint I thought it had to do with being true to yourself and honest but now I realise (real eyes jks) that it has to do with being unacknowledged and everyone thinking your telling fables. JEEEEEEEEEZ. Praise up to Allan Kingdom. A strong, beautifu, black/nubian women is no fable, they exist and need to be acknowledged.
He is sooooo amazing. This visual is so powerful. And ending the video with that beautiful melanated woman was , slayery! He's so different and ihope the industry doesn't change him completely.
man this dudes album has been in my music library for almost a year, just started listening to it today because my cousin asked me bout him, this dude is good.
Amazing song and video! Large up Allen, Chronixx and the beautiful Goddess with the Afro in this video!!! Nuff Raspek to the Production Team...looking out for this album 'Northern Lights' for sure.
Cant' believe that this has only been seen/heard by so little amount of people! Allan is GREATNESS!!! And also the visuals are great! no fables from my side here
Check the definition of christ . Do Iyesus ever teach of self worship? Our father in heaven .. still God the father the son the word . Check the meaning of Haile Sellassie . Lion Of Judah
Your father, mother, brother, sister, friend, teacher etc. Could be your saviour! Haile Selassie Order has saved so many worldwide...if you don't know you just dont...one day you might...glorious day!!!
You aint never lied. Even cats in Minneapolis (Minnesota) are shook as to who this kid is. But that's not surprising to me because the hip hop community is mad wish-washy in Mpls. They don't really support each other and it hasn't changed since I was living there and helped to usher in Mpls Hip-Hop. That's one reason I left. I got mad friends who still live there and still trying to get other muhfuckaz to accept them. Problem is if you can't get heads in ya own city to support you, it's real hard to get it from anywhere else. #facts
You think the Mpls hip hop community doesn't support each other? I feel it's one of very few cities you can find a hip hop show, open mic, and etc pretty much every night. From all the small venues that do local hip hop shows to The Current or GO95 showcasing/interviewing them, and of course RSE always showcasing upcoming local acts with their acts/shows. And of course Soundset as the biggest rap festival in the nation, always with a ton of local artists, theres local scene support that you just can't find in about any other city. Specifically about Allan, I think he and TheStand4rd kids get love. City Pages had Allan the 2014 with Best New Hip Hop Artist and a lot of people praised and sold out Stand4rd shows. Even the big Walker 'Rock the Garden' had Stand4rd in 2015 for more local love. I do think by them seem to be doing their albums/promo/etc on their own (not a bad thing) may keep their shine a but more under the radar. Then other acts like ZuluZuluu are now getting a ton of local love (shows, local radio, etc) in last year. Then ya got some like Dem Atlas from the Eastside like Allan/etc have been put on by RSE which of course opens up a lot for more local and national support. Just my thoughts from an old local scene fan.
Thanks for making a video to my favourite song of 2016. Also thanks for putting down for Winnipeg. Can anyone give me their interpretation of the significance of the hair pick? Was it like his mom saying he cant pick his hair because its scummy, but then he doesnt believe her fables and realizes he was right all along when he sees the beautiful afro lady?

'' Do not worship me, I am not God. I'm only a man. I worship Jesus Christ. '' - Haile Selassie
Praising somebody is different from worshipping them....
Worship (noun)- '' the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity. ''
He said that Selassie is his saviour, so what is the point that you are trying to make ?
