I’ve been an Aggie fan my whole life…. This Aggie team that I saw play this game…. Could very well be the best Aggies football team I have ever seen. Defense was great, running backs were great, receivers were great, catching amazing passes, fighting for the ball!!!! The QB play was great! The O line was great! This is one of the most well rounded Aggie football teams in a long long time!!!!!

As a Mizzou fan, I was worried about this. You can have a great system, but sometimes if you can't recruit the athletes that another team can, it becomes painfully obvious. It's good to see that A&M has a system that exposes their athleticism. It's pretty hard to coach against that. I won't be surprised to see A&M on top of the SEC at the end of the year.
I tried to tell y’all that Conner was QB1 for a reason. Reed is skilled as heck, but Conner is fully developed, and we need to appreciate him before the NFL takes him from us.
One simple fix. Rollout, pitch-out option to Burden. When Pinkel was coach, we used that a lot, and got at least 5 yards 80% of the time. With Burden's speed and agility, he could get more. The OC and Drinkwitz have got to WAKE UP to this fact. They NEVER try it. It's SO frustrating. All they ever try are screen passes to the sideline, but that takes too long to develop. Burden has to wait for the ball, which gives the defenders time to close in. With a pitch-out, he can grab the ball without breaking his stride. The defenders won't get there in time. And to keep them guessing? Cook could fake the pitch-out and bolt upfield occasionally. Or shovel pass to the TE. C'mon coach! Make some adjustments! 😤

It’s college football, Bama dominated the overall perceived #1 team & the next week they lose to an Unranked Vandy. Look what also happened this week to the Vols, Michigan, USC, & Miami…Not all those teams are “overrated”. Momentum is huge in college football due to even the best teams being filled with kids that won’t make it to the next level (most won’t even get looked at seriously). They’re way more prone to mistakes. Missouri is a good team, they failed to execute, got rattled early, & were on the road playing in one of the toughest stadiums in the country. This why blowouts & upsets happen far more at the college level, there’s far too many variables & inexperienced players who haven’t dealt with them yet. Which is also why rankings don’t really mean much, not until like week 12 & still pretty subjective then when you account schedule, certain teams road games, injuries, conference bs etc. etc.
They weren't ready for that hostle environment. They had no clue how loud it would actually get. I grew up there. Yes it seats over 100,000 but it's not necessarily the crowd size that makes the difference it's the way the stadium is built for acoustics. It's just different. An applied upper level course delineating the value of beating Buffalo and Murray State, 38-0 and 51-0. Can't condemn Missouri for scheduling cupcakes, every Power 5 team does it and has been doing it since time immemorial. What's discouraging is seeing, year after year, the gap between the Tigers waterboarding such pastries, then getting brutally exposed on both sides of the ball against a team that can actually punch back. It's like eons ago, some higher court sentenced UM to an eternity (without parole) of being always better than average, occasionally having am elite season, but never sustaining an elite level. The Mizzou team I saw yesterday will struggle to go 8-4 and finish in the Top 25.

What's discouraging is seeing, year after year, the gap between the Tigers waterboarding such pastries, then getting brutally exposed on both sides of the ball against a team that can actually punch back. It's like eons ago, some higher court sentenced UM to an eternity (without parole) of being always better than average, occasionally having am elite season, but never sustaining an elite level. The Mizzou team I saw yesterday will struggle to go 8-4 and finish in the Top 25.
