ISIS! What an incredibly educated and admirable woman you are. I love hearing you speak and drop knowledge. Thank you for all your input. Great episode ladies!
GREAT episode!! Isis, thank you for sharing these resources/knowledge. See you guys on the 24th! My 75 days of no drinking ends on the 15th, just in time! Congrats Vanessa on continuing your education! & congrats Stephanie on cutting ten minutes from your run!
Besties! I love this intelectual podcast! It’s so important to speak on these controversial topics, puts you in perspective . ON THAT NOTE- can you guys talk about how currently Mexico City is becoming gentrified 🥺 I don’t think many platforms have openly discussed this & I think we should. Love y’all🫶🏻
What an awesome episode!!!!! You three are so inspiring. Vanessa going back to school as a young mother is empowering. Stephanie finishing run after run after run, pushing yourself for improvement is so cool and I hope you post more gym content not just pictures lol. And Isis has always added such rich knowledge since starting the podcast. she has added something that wasn’t there before. You three are such chingonas. I LOVE YOU GUYS 💝💞💓💝
Vanessa your current situation of lowering alcohol consumption resonates, I've been trying to drop weed but it's a strong habit, what is working as u mentioned is checking yourself at the time and moment when that urge rises. Also on making small choices that can make big changes. I props u for that. Shout out Besties! Ps. Missed u on the episode the last 2 weeks
Good for you Vanessa school is very important. Even if you don't end up doing what you originally went to school for you'll always have something to fall back on. Going back to school at any age is amazing!
my mom is actually white skinned but she’s from el paso texas and my grandpa was from chihuahua and im darker than her and she always told me how much she loved my color she would always call me caramel and i feel like her loving my color never made me feel different than her and others
Steph highly recommend the San Diego Rock and Roll marathon you don’t need to qualify to do it anyone can sign up you just estimate your finish time so they can tell you your space for other runners at your pace it’s normally in June which is not too hot yet in San Diego ☀️
That was my nickname too Stephanie lol my uncle would always call me prita 😮color de llanta 😂😂😂 Mexican and nickname the creativity I didn’t like it when I was little

Stephanie has talked about colorism before. Tell me why my tio called me morena color de llanta and my lighter sister paloma blanca.
I heard that nickname throughout my childhood for darker kids from they parent, we didn't think much of it unconscious. Prieta color de llanta
