Before I started watching this channel, I had no idea of the level of deconstruction and reconstruction necessary due to the incompetence of other rat companies plus the original damage prior to the homeowner detecting them.
You guys made that look easy. Great job on finding them so quickly. My neighbors always wonder what I'm doing on my roof sniffing pipes. I tell them to watch your videos to find out why. Now every year on a certain day all of us go up on our roofs and pipe sniff. Its amazing what you'll find up there.
So glad I found you guys. I had mice in my attic and called a pest control company, they told me this area had plenty of mice and just threw poison blocks in the attic, billed me 100$ and left.
I've been watching the videos. I have roof rats in the attic. Yesterday I checked out the roof and found the entry point. It was were two different roofs come together and form a V shape. I stuffed wire mesh and foamed it. I have not heard anything yet. Good video from Sacramento
Years ago after Louisiana had its big 100 year flood in 2016 (entire neighborhoods with water up to the roof line) we got an entire family of big Norway rats in our home. The sewers all flooded and these rats fled into people's homes all over the surrounding area. One of the rats had the nerve to climb onto a plate of food that was on a side table next to my computer desk WHILE I was at the desk 2ft away. I jumped up and screamed and the rat ran back and forth under my desk and then ran into the bathroom and went under my sink. The first thing I did was seal up all of the sinks and drain areas with closed cell expanding foam and wire mesh, and left one area open where I placed traps. I tried glue traps and kill traps, and I caught a couple of them, but there were still more and they kept taking the bait, but not triggering the traps. So I bought the big plastic kill traps from the Homeless Despot and then modified them in the same way you did here using PVC pipe cut in half to make a hood over the bait portion of the trap, affixed with epoxy. I set the 4 traps out, and the next morning I had 4 dead rats. Rinse (literally, you want to wash the smell of dead rat off of your traps after each use) and repeat. Within 3 days I'd taken out 13 rats, the last of which was a MASSIVE pregnant mama, her head so big it barely fit into the trap. Her body alone, sans tail, was the length of my forearm. I think the reason it went so smoothly is because they'd been forced out of their habitat and were starving because they weren't used to foraging for food in a home. The rats must have come a long way because we used septic tanks, so our plumbing wasn't hooked up to any centralized system.
I definitely learned some things from this channel on how to deal with a rodent infestation. One if the main things I learned was how to properly bait. I caught the bugger after baiting well from the tips from the twins.

After seeing this video I walked around my house three times looking for possible holes rats could enter ! Thank God I found none! My sewer pipes are made of cast iron , the switch to plastic was a big mistake!
Great work, guys. It always feels great to find a big rat dead in one of your traps, and to trap them all out of a home where they've been causing humans great stress and discomfort. Thanks, and keep up your great work and helpful videos. Questions: (1) Why did you switch from the yellow hoodies with serrated teeth, to the black hoodies without teeth? (2) Where can I buy the yellow hoodies?
This is a older video, we don’t use those black hoodies. We have perfected our entire rat trapping system/ accessories. Yes, we use the golden hoodies with the serrated teeth. We have our bait tuggers to add to the bait plate, this activates the traps FASTER and kills the big rats in the head vs neck. Email support@twinhomeexperts.com so I can get you set up.
Thanks very much Dave and Jim, and crew, for videoing all your hard work and making it available for others to study online. Thanks for the offer of your plastic hoodies. I have further modified my own aluminum hoodies, and will think about trying your plastic ones in the future. Keep up the great work.

love the new intro it sorta reminds me and is on par with the show naked and afraid where the narrator is explaining the environment.
This is so entertaining. You guys need a show.
I almost wish I had a rat problem so I could call you guys lmao
This wasn't "missed" people wanted to rip her off.
17:54 Looks like she has silverfish too. Those can also be a problem. Great job tho
I’m confused. Once the broken pipe was replaced, how are they still getting into that space?
They were already in the house. Fixing the pipe blocks their way out, which is the only reason the big, smart, adults actually go for the traps - they're HUNGRY.
Love you guys.. thanks for the education
Real professionals at work
I like the introduction to the episode pretty cool
After seeing this video I walked around my house three times looking for possible holes rats could enter ! Thank God I found none! My sewer pipes are made of cast iron , the switch to plastic was a big mistake!
Plastic is not edible so the chances of a rat eating through a plastic pipe vs. a metal one, which is also not edible, should be about the same.
Uh...Rats chew the plastic to gain entry, has nothing to do with eating it.
thanks
You guys should think about expanding to New York New Jersey we need you on the east coast
Was this video made last year? just wondering (4:57 timestamp)
Yes, exactly a year. 👍
You guys are simply the best. Have a good weekend
Thank you Jay! 🙏❤️
The twins are the best at getting rid of rats 🐀

The twins are the best at getting rid of rats 🐀 wow the best by far and don’t rip u off !!!!
Appreciate your support 🙏💪👍👏
How do we know her problem is solved? I’m confused…
Can’t believe how incompetent some pet control companies are. Seriously, who just plops some mesh at the top of an exhaust pipe without securing it!
You need to do more videos
I need you in Atlanta I have 11 rodent companies and they can never find or see anything. But at night they are in the attic or when they think no one is here they make noises
If you have the money, I'm sure you could fly them out.
CONGRATULATIONS GUYS YOU ARE THE BEST 🥰🥰🥰
We work very hard to be two steps ahead of these very intelligent rats.
did you ever try adding bird seed to the chunky peanut butter?
at 14:09 the amazon box if you look closely you could make out the address be carfull blur it out if you want to
I don’t think there is twins camera trickery you’re been payed twice 😂
I love these videos because I’m a twin
You guys should do a video collaboration with Dan the bug man 😊
That was a really cool intro 😎
Thanks for sharing this.
3:12 Your steps are upside down 🤣🤣🤣
3:35 who is that foo in background banging on 😂😂😂
@17:05 that's the biggest rat I've seen the Twins get so far👍🏽
You guys are AWESOME!🎉
She is lucky to have people like you working for her, the house was disgusting
