A Rainy 🌧Yet Memorable Day in London -
Looking for a fun family day trip to London from Eastleigh? Our recent journey was a perfect mix of convenience, sightseeing, and unforgettable memories!
We started our trip from Eastleigh, driving for about an hour and a half to London Waterloo, where we parked near a restaurant called Nando’s, making it easy to grab a quick meal before exploring.
Our first stop was the iconic London Eye, a must-visit attraction offering breathtaking views of the city. Even though the weather was rainy, the atmosphere was lively, with crowds of tourists and locals enjoying the sights. Big Ben, standing tall and majestic, was another highlight of our walk.
With young kids in tow, we used push trams to navigate the busy streets, making the experience smoother for everyone. The trip was extra special for my nephew-it was his first visit to London! As an international student pursuing his master’s degree in Winchester, this day out gave him a chance to experience the city’s vibrant energy.
Despite the rain and lack of sunshine, we thoroughly enjoyed our time, soaking in the sights and sounds of London. By 9 PM, we were back home, ensuring the kids got to bed on time after an exciting adventure.
