Im 25 now, and i studied geological engineering. I really dont much about geology, i just like studying geochemical. But when i learnt my first day in programming, i feel fun than in geology. This short give me courage to start learning progamming.
As a fellow geologist, of the same age, I also don't like classic geology although I can see its importance. My passion was always physics and because I'm after geophysics MSc I had to get better at programming. I feel like we can all learn to program but don't forget you can always use your coding skills for your geoscience-related work and combine your knowledge of both fields to be better as a scientist. I feel like these days those who can't code, will either learn by their own or be forced to do so in order to keep pace.

My project revolved around alot of coding in my google spreadsheet to make ease of data entry and automate the data entry into data visualization in my looker studio. I had zero experience in IT when i start that task, even my boss said i just need to do simple dashboard without complicated coding but without realizing i feel enjoyment in coding and at the same time contemplating wether i should change my career. I am afraid adn still seeking answers but man your friend quote really gave me the confidence to take this big step which im about to take after this short. Similar stuff happened with me, In my 3rd year as a mechanical engineering student at IITM, I began to regret alot on taking mech instead of EE or CS in other IITs. So, I started pursuing career in data science which i liked a lot.

I will complete my BCA at the age of 20 Ignoring good for nothing syllabus I have strong grip on c++, MYSQL and python And basic knowledge of c, vb.net, java, c#, and html css javascript and some other syllabus things I'm so confuse what to do after that should I go for MCA? or get a job (placement is terrible so it's out of question) and if go for job I'm not even sure what I consider strong grip even matter in industry level, I never done any internship or any interview before so apply for college placement also very scary for me what should I do?
Without any doubt go for MCA if you can afford. Try to crack NIMCET get into a good NIT. If you are good at coding just enjoy your MCA course and build projects you will get a really good job after MCA. After BCA opportunities are very very limited and they won't give good salary at all. Stay away from service based companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro.

But guess what, whatever he learnt in his core branch course of engineering can be used to simulate all things in the computer. He can simulate the things he studied in college. Computers are used solve real life problems faster.
