The more I see of these two, the more I want for them to meet Reimu and others. I can't tell if Reimu and Tsubakura would bond over their mutual grumpiness, or just endlessly snark at each other.
Fumikado's one of the few bosses that's an absolute joy for me to fight. The theme's amazing, the danmaku is pretty fun, and that pretty great background transition at the beginning
This stage gives me such PC-98 Touhou vibes. Largely the sound effects from some of the enemies, and the background turning into some psychedelic rave.
Wow, what the hell was up with this final-boss atmosphere anyway!? Cool transition at the start into a rather dramatic background, being technically the mastermind of the incident (Yabusame isn't entirely wrong saying the incident is solved- it's just that there's the clean-up left to take care of), pretty solid music, powerful and eye drawing patterns... No, seriously, what _is_ next!? I can't help but kinda want to play the Len'en games, but getting to see them like this is too much fun... =w=
Fumikado's theme is super good. Perhaps not my favorite Len'en theme, since Tsurubami, Salamimaru and Sukune have great themes as well, but much better than I expected it to be. Looking forward to next week, I wonder if it'll be the character I'm expecting.
Fumikado does have a gimmick! They have as much spells as a stage 6 boss, despite being stage 5. (Why am I posting this, it has been a few years since this first releassd.)
Funnily enough, Fumikado WAS supposed to be this game's final boss. That's the reason for them having that many spell cards, and why that final card is Final attack worthy with how much it can end up constricting you.
It's in the options yes, but if you do play through the game as one character it won't unlock the Extra Stage. So I suppose it's more like practice or something?
Eh, be honest I didn't even know it was a thing till after I beat the game... Actually had someone else point it out to me when asking if I'd go over it in my videos.
That's a common glitch I had, maybe. Does it crash soon as the dialog is over and the battle against Fumi starts? That's something I had happen a lot and I got around it by clicking through the dialog faster than normal. If it's crashing soon as the dialog starts though... try using applocale and set it to Japanese characters. Japanese games like to crash soon as Japanese text comes up if you don't. Failing that... reinstall the patch and hope for the best?

Item #2 on the hypothetical Reimu incident questionnaire, of course, is the same as item #1 but with "Yukari" replaced by "The Moriya Shrine"

Fumikado's theme is probly my fav from Len'en.
I’ve never heard that end portion of this theme before.

"Now, behold this body that I've honed to perfection for the New Emperor's sake!!"
more like.. this body she *stole...*
Oh hey, it's the body stealer
How nightmarish
If Fumikado is a body stealer, then what makes Mitsumo?
*Insert triggered Para here*

Not sure if you knew, but there is an option to make it so that you only play as one character.
I can't recall where but I believe it's in options.

I see... I didn't know that though... Considering mine is in japanese haha.
I guess that was a downer for you when you found out yes?
Eh, be honest I didn't even know it was a thing till after I beat the game... Actually had someone else point it out to me when asking if I'd go over it in my videos.
The game crashes during the dialogue. help

I deleted and reinstalled the patch and then the game crashed as soon as soon as I pressed Z to continue to stage 6
Is that whole conversation with the boss just forshadowing for the next game?
Nah, really she's just alluding to the final boss here _A LOT_
