Solid demonstration from Greg and Chris, bravo!
The only thing I'd note is that an avalanche victim is likely to have sustained at least some traumatic injuries. If the patient is breathing and conscious, then there is no real need to move them until you have excluded the possibility of major trauma (head, spine, pelvis, femurs).

Great example of theory into real practice - thank you - great stuff. No substitute for the real practice but great illustration. The checklist would good 👍

Hey there, greetings from Europe! I really enjoy these kinda videos just because the learning effect is always bigger when actions are demonstrated rather than talked about. So huge thanks for taking the time to simulate a rescue situation and film it. As we cant take classes rn in europe it helps to get an overview just so when taking the class the information is not completely new.

A nice clean video teaching exactly what we all need to know, but rarely bother to actually understand.

So spending time here in the french alps this video has been a great compliment to training we’ve done here. As a reminder of some things :) really nice walkthrough!
I’ll mention something that differs from your shovelling technique to what some of us say. And that’s to start digging right above the person. To allow more air to come down to the person. And then first afterwards start doing the “tunnel” or however you call the technique your doing straight away.
Any thoughts on this ? Cheers!
