I do not think we can even call them K-drama, even that are Korean tv-shows .. are completely on a different rail: 1.Island, Original title: Aillaendeu (Demon fighting Demons) 2.Arthdal Chronicles (Asian game of Thrones ;) ) 3.My Name, Original title: Mai Neim (a lot of brutal action)
Each of you honorable mentions is better than The Bear. I watched the first two seasons of The Bear while I had Covid. I'd rather have Covid again than watch any more of that show.

The bear season 1 and 2 was lit but season 3 bore me. I know mental health issue is arising in the world of chefs and professional kitchen where suicide incidents of famous chefs are not that uncommon, but it was too much the whole season covering that.
Why doesn't a family friendly TV series ever come up on this list? I mean how hard can it be to create a great family friendly show? Can't people enjoy shows without seeing violence, dirty content or adult language?
Severance was not really something I found offensive. I didn't find most of the list offensive. The REASON why is because although there is an AUDIENCE... the Producers follow the money. They give people what they want. I am NOT a Cardi B Fan... but she pulls the $. This is what today's society seems to want.

"Nobody is going to root for a cast of characters who stand for discrimination, eugenics, and racism." with 5 out of 8 episodes having zero plot and zero-character development -Inhumans review. How did MCU went from Homecoming and GOTG2 to Inhumans in 2017?
A few things Ill retort. One, The heck is Severance? Two, Shogun at 9 is criminal. Three, Andor was the best thing Disney did in 20 years. Four, where the hell is Fallout? Five, The Bear is the best thing to happen t TV since Breaking Bad. Also, Id like to remiss the first few seasons of Mandalorian was pretty good....as was The Witcher. Both not mentioned. And Finally, Yellowjackets.....this show has amazing acting, fantastic actors...the time split? No. I freaking hate that. Its like watching two shows in one. Its confusing, and turned me off. Sorry. Wasn't for me. Replace Yellowjackets with The Witcher, and replace severance with The Mandalorian and we be good
Sorry but Shogun was absolutely terrible if you loved the book. I don't know what story they were telling but about the only thing it had in common with the book was the characters names. For the most part the actors were superb with the glaring except of the clown they chose to play Blackthorne! Totally wrong for the part and portrayed him as a bumbling idiot or whining wimp or both! I don't have words enough to express the depth of my disappointment in this miniseries! I've rewatched the Richard Chamberlain version dozens of times and likely will dozens of more times. This trash I'll never suffer through again!
