I had no idea why my 30 yr old daughter stopped talking to me at all, not even answering my calls or letters. Then I sadly found out she is a severe alcoholic, and so is her husband. I have cried my eyes out. I loved her so much. Now we dont talk but at 74 I dont have to watch her kill herself with alcohol. My dear husband almost died of alcohol before I met him. so he has taken her out of my life. and yes it hurts.

I have never tasted alcohol in my life, I taught her it was bad for her.
