The duality though!! When she’s off camera she’s very bright, smiley, soft voice, playful, and looks very fresh/young despite being the eldest member… hence her being called the MATNAE meaning… she looks like and behaves like a maknae, but is actually the eldest. HOWEVER… when she’s on stage, she is a totally different person. As they kept saying throughout the introduction. She is so comfortable on stage because she’s so experienced in dancing and was in a Japanese idol group for a little bit. She has natural charisma that just takes over the stage no matter how hype the song is or heartfelt like her rap lyrics in the “peaches” cover evaluations. Ruka has really stood out to me along with Asa and Haram from the live performances to intro videos/character playlists. They’re my top 3 in BAEMON right now. However, Rora and Ahyeon is very close too… I’m still very much impressed and really like Pharita and Chiquita as well. All of BAEMON are amazingly talented young ladies. It’s just I really gravitate and relate to Ruka, Asa, and Haram.
Wassup Dezzy. Big fan of your reactions. When I first watched this it brought me to tears and it still does today (6/10/2023). But it is also extremely inspiring. Ruka stole my heart for sure. This is why I can't pick a bias. It would be like choosing my favorite child. I can't. I love them equally. So it's OT7 for me. That's my bias. Bob
