I always like listening to Crazy Rhythm. Such a fun tune!

Beautiful build; I'm an instrument maker myself. It might be pretty neat to see your demonstration organ running with smoke fed into the air intake.

I was thinking the same thing! I would love to make one of these and hook it up to a tricycle and somehow rig it so that the tricycle pumps the bellows. It would need to have a way to store the energy and deliver it to the organ at a consistent rate. I'm thinking of using it in local parades. With speed changes and starting and stoping of the tricycle, the organ would have to work at a consistent speed. I thought a smoke effect would make for great, visual interest in a parade.

to get it to deliver energy at a constant rate, you just use a big heavy flywheel. It works great, that's partly why they're so common in early steam-engines.

Yes, I understand the flywheel. I was thinking of having the tricycle power the organ, but if I use the tricycle pedals to power it directly, the organ would speed up and slow down as the tricycle speeds up and slows down. I would like for the tricycle to maybe wind a spring that would power the organ. The spring would act as a power reserve when the tricycle has to stop or slow down, but the tricycle would also have to stop winding the spring when it is wound to it's fullest and let it unwind a bit and then start winding it again as it loses power. Hmmm...maybe just a steam engine would be easer, but I think it would be really interesting if I could use the spring idea.

@@matthewcondon1985 It's two years later abd you may or may not care, but you could use the trike to charge a battery, which could power a motor that would run the organ.

I think a pith ball or two should be inside each flute. And some baskets like basketball, for active betting (not really the betting part).

Beautifully crafted and fascinating to watch! Mechanical devices such as this have always captivated me in a way no electronic device ever could. You're seeing the music happen right in front of your eyes! DELIGHTFUL! I loved your previous video featuring "The Sun Has Got His Hat On." Do you have a piece of software that "prints" (or even punches) your rolls or is that all done by hand?

Very nice demo organ. The pipes are perfectly tuned. Also, why are the pipes and the wind box clear tho? Air isn't visible. It's invisible. Anyways, it's still nice. Maybe you could add more decoration and paint the plastic pipes with brown stain glass paint for color and the wind box the same color as the pipes. Thx and like if you agree. Cya.
