The JAWS Ride Universal Studios Japan

This is my edited video of the JAWS Ride at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, Japan. With the demolition of the JAWS ride in Orlando, Florida, this is now the only remaining JAWS Ride in the world. With noticeable differences in detail because this attraction is younger than its original counterpart, the JAWS Ride still thrills all audiences with its surprises and fun with 100% live effects. Because of strict rules for video recording attractions at Universal Japan, this video was culminated from multiple rides throughout the day in October 2012. I am sorry for some of my fingers in the video, however it was not easy to record using an iPhone 4S on a water ride and keep it concealed. I hope everyone enjoys the ultimate JAWS experience with this video. Although in Japanese.

holy crap! the attack at the end scared me! at the Orlando one, the boat stopped, and then the shark popped out. These sharks are way more realistic!

The mechanics certainly are, but the latex skins are badly damaged, even to the point of having rips in them...

It wasn’t about maintaining anything it was adding something better and more popular they just don’t want to admit that so they said it was due to maintenance issues

Japans Sharks aren't as good as Floridas the Shark skin on Japan's is flimsy, not like Floridas was and its ripping like Floridas plus the lagoon water is to clear where you can see pipe and track ......
