Saw his Dad perform this live at a bar in Richmond, Virginia summer of 1986. He said that it was new song that would appear on their next album (the not yet released "Into the Woods"). Blew me away then. Still blows me away. One of my all time favorite songs. Thank you Michael Been, rest in peace 🙏
One of my favorite songs. Michael was one of favorite artists. There aren't a lot of artists that I can say I truly love as a person. Michael was one. This cover breaks me up. What a wonderful tribute. (side note: saw BRMC open for Dandy Warhols. I had no idea who BRMC was; my wife and I were blown away).
