Your first mistake was clamping from the inside versus on the outside of the rim. That's how inner clamp damage happens on aluminum/ allow wheels. Clamping from the inside should only be done on steel wheels. Second mistake was using the bar without the plastic cover or one of the nylon rim protectors when demounting the bead. Last, I wouldn't call it a mistake, but I actually can't believe you had to check to see if a T/A Sport was asymmetrical before you mounted it. Lol. It doesn't take that long to check to see what side the date code is on to make sure it faces outward.
