I know this is really random but you post your vids at like a really good time for me because I have a break to watch a short little video and your fantano vids always help, so thanks for that :)
I still can't understand 2000's rating. Like, AAB was good but 2000 overall is just so much better. The quality improvement is fucking big. And the whole second part of the record is just perfect to me.
1999 9/10 (amazing lyricism but it felt he was just getting started and had time to improve. still a classic) b4da$$ 9/10 (traded i little bit of lyricism for topic and is fantastic absolutely a classic) All amerikkan Bada$$ 10/10 (has the perfect balance between lyricism, melodic rap, and his message that he is trying to convey through the album and a conceptual classic for sure and joeys best overall album PS. although 1999 and b4da$$ had his best lyricism) 2000 8/10 (great album, looking back on his old days brought nostalgia to it and the emotional tracks hit hard, nice balance between lyricism, emotion, and melodic stuff which is great.) Conclusion: joey bada$$ is in the top 5 of this generation and he will end up to be one of the greatest to ever do it with a flawless discography and top tier lyricism he is one to look out for.
How? all amerikkkan baddass is amazing. Personally I prefer 1999 but fantano cares about shit like themes and progressiveness and AAB has a more progressive sound + really strong theme I wouldn't call it the worst music take 💀
@@andrewpalmer2272 ye there are some rappers I didn't mention bc I haven't heard any of their music... krit is one of the rappers that I wanna listen to when I get the chance... What album are you recommending?

1999 8/10 really great lyricism but nothing in the conceptual lense B4da$$ 9/10 really amazing and is imo a classic even though it isnt perfect it has aome of joeys best tracks on there and justs adds to the atmosphere All amerikkan bada$$ 10/10 perfect length, amazing rapping, perfect balance between melodic rap, boom bap rap, and the message he is trying to convey.perfect album definitely a classic 2000 8/10 great album, really gives the 1999 feel but it feels like it was sharpened and higher quality. It gives lots of nostalgia and makes me smile and the emotional tracks are heartbreaking. If we let it rest for a few more years its a chance its gonna be a classic
Joey badass been so consistent with his work, one of the most underrated artists of his generation

AAB WAS SO GOOD someone understands it
AAB is goated but imo I prefer B4DA$$, not as consistent but has some of his best tapes
i fucking hate people saying "he peaked at 17" or "he hasnt made good music since 2015" like stfu and listen cuz AAB is his best album

Joey and kendrick and lupe need 2 be studied in schoola
Yeah you trippin' on 1999. That shit go! And that Eulogy joint on 2000 alone is enuff to give it like a 20 outta 10 .
My opinions on Joey Bada$$ albums
1999: 9/10
Summer Knights: 7/10
B4.DA.$$: 8/10
ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$: 8/10
2000: 7/10
Like I get where the criticism is coming from but these albums are 8s or 9s at least
1999 is easily 10/10. Fuck. Gotta be kidding. It’s the type of album you just press play and let it go on.
1999 is like illmatic for me idk
The Scores are pretty good
All american badass is not an 8 idc
All Amerikkkan Badass being rated better than 1999 is the worst music take I’ve seen all year lol

1999 was def rated too low, but All Amerikkkan badass doesn't have a single skip for me
He most likely changed his mind on 1999s rating
I’m saying
The top 5 of our generation are:
Kendrick
Joey
Mac
Cole
Tyler
No order (honorable mentions:drake and rocky)
Krit top 3 at the very least top 5
