    It feels so damn good to finish up Holly’s master suite (minus the flooring but you just wait!) …and do what I actually said I was going to do for once in a short (ish) amount of time. It has me inspired to tackle the rest of her house before 2021 so I decided to turn this into my first TH-cam series (Netflix or HGTV let’s handle some business and kick a series off, cut the check!). I cannot believe I hand stenciled flooring before this - redoing that ASAP as you can see in the edit. What would you do different? What do you love? What do you hate? What do you want more of? What would you steer away from? Remember that sharing is caring and you are bound to inspire someone else so comment down below xx.

    Oh, how I wish home builders would start hiring you to design these small bathrooms to make them so much more functional and nice/pretty. Rather than them all just looking like a cookie cutter, you could create a user friendly style...that would be so nice!

      But that's what makes the builder homes affordable/cheaper than others. Hiring designers & architects is a great idea for people who can afford it! :)

    • @marnilane6124
      @marnilane6124 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Leslie Ammons , I understand completely what you’re saying but it’s actually architects and designers who first draw up the blueprints of the house. If they designed them with functionality in the first place, it wouldn’t cost anymore then any other house. It’s going to be the materials chosen to build that house that are going to cause that house to sky rocket in price

    • @HomeWorkouts_LS
      @HomeWorkouts_LS 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@marnilane6124 I know, I'm an architect. In America you on't need a licensed architect for homes and they only design about 2% of homes. I only meant for the aesthetics, not functionality.

    This is a great makeover! I would love to see a makeover of a basement/laundry room area that is mostly concrete. I've seen lots of makeovers that look a lot easier because there's already drywall or existing flooring there, but I would love to see your ideas on how to make use of a very bare-bones space!

She said the install process was painless so I'll be sharing when I redo Paul's floor over on my Instagram stories and YT stories. The medicine cabinet DIY idea is from my homegirl Monica which you can find here: instagram.com/p/B4n1_diHdqZ/ I need to find a better way to adhere and secure the metal mirror without the potential of slipping off so again once I do, I will be sure to share. GORGE! Girl, you never cease to amaze me. This bathroom is super cute, clean, fresh, and inviting. The floor, the shelves, the sink, the mirror, shower curtain. . .great job! I kinda wish all of the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body scrub products in the shower would've been put into refillable containers just for a more clean aesthetic. Plus it would eliminate buying non-bulk bottles since you are just refilling. Whenever you can, always remember to be kind to Mother Earth.

      They have two shelves with her boyfriend being the tallest human I've ever met so nothing is really convenient for him. She wasn't using any single drawer or under sink space of her previous vanity so I am confused how there is less? When there is now a top drawer and under sink with two layered organizers and a third bin? If this was your bathroom and you didn't like it, I'd alter it but Holly was with me and executed the space alongside me to make it work FOR HER since she lives there. ALWAYS execute a space for your needs! My tutorials are just to inspire in anyway I can.

    I really liked the transformation, however the only thing that is not appealing to me is the towel rack made out of pipes. It looks like some plumbing that the owners couldn't hide behind a wall.

      i loved it it gave such a loft vibe! but i hope she adds a bar to raise the towels above the hand towel because it is not really functional having to lift those towels in case you wanna change or wash your hand towel more often.

    AMAZING Job. Thank you for actually showing a small bathroom tired of seeing videos claiming small bathroom and then I can't do any of it as they aren't really small. It looks soo good well put together and for not a lot of $ will be trying those peel and stick flooring.

    this makeover is literally insane, the difference is RIDICULOUS! I'm thinking about some of the bathrooms I've had in all of my rentals and they were badddddd, but I've never lived somewhere long enough (or wanted to stay in those rentals) to want to spend my money to do a makeover.
    I love the idea of the new shower piping, I've always bought new shower heads, but I never thought about the piping piece that comes from the new wall!

    One tip before you start painting, mix up some hot-mud (or putty) for wall patching since the surface under the paint is also important. Great job though!

    I have been dying to see 👀 a small bathroom makeover and this is it! I can do this, I will do this! Thank you so much 💖 It would be really cool 😎 to see a future DIY with Rachel Metz masterclass or even something akin to "on tour". Traveling and displaying different DIYs from varying types of homes. I have been struggling to come up with how to facelift my basement (i.e. Laundry room and bedroom) without the hardcore gutting/remodeling. Trying to optimize/utilize the space to accommodate extra people at home.

    Thank u for the inspo! We close escrow on the 23rd and have that week to remove carpet & lay vinyl flooring (doing ourself for the first time because u inspired me from the playroom makeover) & we are painting walls & redoing the bathroom all in 5 days to move in by the 28th because our lease is up the 30th.
    Lol whose stressing. I’m not stressing.
    But no, jokes aside, u really inspire me that we can do these things if we really try & there is no need to pay someone $8k for labor. U go girl! Keep on being a badass, moms like me could use all the diy inspo u have. Hugs!
