Para quien quiera saber, me parece que es un Koto, que es una cítara, japonesa (según Wikipedia). Eso parece, aunque hay otros instrumentos de cuerda que podrían sonar de forma similar. Y bueno, también se usa violín en la canción.
Cd booklet says they used koto, haegum, guitar and strings together to the sounds so the first instrument would be haegum and the pluking sound that appear later would be koto
