Thank you for the videos you and your brothers do. The little things like you have on this video are things that won't be seen on any documentaries and most likely would not even be noticed in a museum behind glass if it made it on display. I'm about Timmys age and would watch some NASCAR growing up but wasn't into the history. I've learned a lot of facts about your family racing history I never knew.
Paydirt ! 👍 Please Petty Bros. do more of this content (maybe go through one of those rule books you have from the 1950's etc.) I have some mags i could see you have there. If i had all the bookkeeping, photos & memorabilia you have laying there i'd be in a coma trying to go through it all.
Man i love the old stories it has taught us younger boys how the real racers had it an one thing i always wanted to know about was the “textured roof “ maybe that story will come up some time until then please continue to keep ip the good work an call dale jr he could definitely help yall make the channel bigger just by having yall one for a episode
'54 was the first, but he WOULD'VE won the 1950 championship if he hadn't been penalized for running a non-NASCAR race. I don't remember the details (that was before my time; I read about it later), but he scored enough points the rest of that year to finish in the top five in points. And that Champion spark plug ad... I have a bunch of old Popular Science and Mechanix Illustrated magazines from the '40s, '50s and '60s...I'm pretty sure I've seen that ad in at least one of them.
Thanks for taking the time to share your family’s memories. God bless.
Really enjoy seeing all theses things from the past.. thanks Ritchie
Thanks for sharing your family story. Truly appreciate it!
Thank you for sharing. I really appreciate the history of such a great family
Awesome history as always! Lee Boy was the man! Thanks for sharing! God bless!
They just have to figure out how to run a beach race one more time!! Think of the draw of $$$$$$ that would be!!
