I play clarinet. Have done for decades. So, I have some insight. I love this piece, guitar as well. Just two people in the groove. Not a concert performance, just how it should be. The very essance of what it can be all about when the musicians and the audience are one and the same. Thanks for sharing the joy.
Both these guys obviously play very well, and it's interesting to hear a divergence from the American-bop thing! I'm instantly reminded of so much of what I heard in Europe that was kinda new to my ears. Then and now, this is KoOL.
Despite the accuracy of comments regarding tuning, leaving such comments without praising your amazing performance, as though they could have played it themselves, is inexcusable. Wonderful job. And quite honestly though to the trained ear the tuning is noticeable, it's not even like it's painfully out of tune like the chords clash or anything. People are just jealous haha
Although I'm no musician in any way, but, in my opinion, these guys are doing a great job. Carry on, progress and I hope you'll be really famous one day! Best of luck!
i know you were trying to make a joke, but that's literally how keanu reeves became famous. he was a musician in LA first and then got recognized by hollywood exec during one of his performances. look it up if you don't believe me
Wow ! Great & lovely performance ! I can now take inspiration on your playing, Nikola :3 That's funny, it's seems you play like Gabriele Mirabassi's play and sound🤩. I love G. Mirabassi's instrument sound !!
Genial interpretación, me encantaría poder utilizar el audio en una producción radial universitaria, sería un gran honor obtener el permiso de uso, amo esta interpretación.
OMD (= OMG en français)! You 2 are amazing...I am dying to jam with you!!!!!....want, want, want to learn....my flute is awaiting a team such as yours and my clarinet needs much work but is totally willing!! Love Love Love the classics you 2 are interpreting ...en un esprit si léger et amusant!!
Why both of you don't upload new covers and videos? Remember, that I'm one of those who was watching your videos at the beginning of your debut on youtube :)
Genial!!! yo quiero saber dónde puedo encontrar arreglos así para interpretar, pues toco el clarinete pero no se hacer arreglos solo quiero saber donde conseguir material
Nice performance but what does this have to do with Dexter Gordon? Dexter recorded the piece as did many others. Wiki sums it origins - "Blue Bossa" is an instrumental jazz composition by Kenny Dorham. It was introduced on Joe Henderson's 1963 album Page One.[1] A blend of hard bop and bossa nova, the tune was possibly influenced by Dorham's visit to the Rio de Janeiro Jazz Festival in 1961.[2][3] The tune has since been recorded numerous times by different artists, making it a jazz standard.[4]
I'd agree with the paulroberts comment. You play at an odd angle (clarinet), but it doesn't seem to give you any trouble. You sound less dark than I am used to, but that's not a flaw in the least, and likely a help when working against a basically bass instrument like a guitar. Sounds cool.

For those interested The melody and chords would be found in the Real Book… although most of this is improvisation.

I am just awed by the way you guys express yourselves through music. just simply amazing.
