While it's not a contract year, Ochai was essentially coming into the season fighting to save his NBA career and was getting ridiculed by some fans because he was willing to trust Darko and rework his jumper. We all owe him an apology, and I hope he can see what we're trying to grow here and decides to stay long term.
would love to see a future where you have to sign that Bruno Fernando apology form lol for our team's sake but ya another promising game, but the good and bad of it is that we're starting to see the team pushed to its limits as teams match them up better according to their development. Can't wait to see how the team looks with a full stretch of healthy core players at heights of their better defined roles (I'll take a season of course lol). I still don't mind the losses but ye we need to see this level of play also teach the lessons that come from success as well.
Signing a Bruno apology form would actually make for good content so hopefully he does do it lmao. And yeah, I’m excited to see the team at full strength as well!
Disagree about Jak not being on the floor simply because of the injury situation. Would have had Kelly there if he'd been available, but otherwise I think it's perfectly reasonable to have him there if only to attack the glass. I wouldn't run a play through him deliberately though, and wouldn't have Gradey as the inbounder.
Also, while a lot of the criticisms of Darko are valid, it's also worth remembering that he's a couple of near misses and bad calls from being in COTY conversations, that's how banged up the team is and how close some of these games have been. Edit: Not to mention the free throws.
@@adrianmercado3092 I think the defense had something to do with it, but also the guards were kind of freezing him out a bit. It’s fine, they’ll learn and adjust.
One reason why I knew about him was the floater. It was automatic, but I guess that's just the way it is when you're trying to broaden your offensive game.

Yeah he certainly has been the biggest positive surprise this season.

Raptors need to find a starting center who can shot 3's.
I believe Gradey didn't get a shot attempt in the fourth.

Immanuel Quickley's inside scoring is buns, he smokes layups and floaters constantly.
His floaters were great for the Knicks. Layups are a different story, I'll admit.
