Between the pages of an old family bible, I found dates of births, deaths and old revivals. Then I came upon a page, it was written by a feeble hand. It said this is my last request and these are my funeral plans.
When I die, let me die speaking in tongues. Let it ring in my ears, all of these songs I've sung. Lord give me the strength to praise you, speak your name one more time. Then have your angels carry me over to the other side.
Lord I've lived a long life, now my race is run. I can't wait to leave here, I've got nothing left undone. I've got everything in order, tell my children not to cry. I've left them a road map and they can meet me in the by and by.
Go tell my friends and neighbors not to weep for me. I'm gonna live forever, I've finally been set free. Go tell 'em not to mourn or to miss me when I'm gone. They can shout all around my grave side cause it ain't me final home.

Me too I had covid. They told me with covid i had pneumonia and kidney failure at the same time and i was out of my right mind because i remember none of it But God!!!!!!!!!!!! Here I am 4 years later shouting the victory. To God be the glory.
Dementia can take everything but the Holy Ghost. My dad died almost a month ago and he was still praying and thanking God for everything HE had done in my dad's life.

My Father in law was an Apostolic preacher and pastor for many years. He past away at 76 years old in September 2015. This song was sung at his funeral, and set the house on fire.

I grew up in a little church just like this with my father. It was a Assembly of God Church, when I was 13 or so things started to change they were building a new church at another location and the church just kinda split. Was never the same afterwards. I never went back again. I’ve been to lots of different churches over many years and could never find it again (some will know what I mean). I believe very much in God I just really miss the old ways, people used to ridicule churches like ours, the speaking in tongues, laying on of hands and praying. I would love to fine a church close by to go to like this . I’m 60+ years old and wish for this again. I’ll play this a lot now that I found it. May god bless these people and their church.Praise God and the Holy Ghost .

My grand father Ellis Baines McCutchen preached the holy ghost and fire in Waxahachie Tx for 38 yrs. As an Assembly of God minister.
I love this song, this should be all christians funeral plans, Reminds me of a elder man in our church, on Easter sunday about 4 years ago, came got up and sung and preached hard a few min. went to his pew and left this world... what a way to go in a good annointed service
Hey it happened here in Scottsville, Ky too, a man made a statement that If God called him home that night that he was ready to go, and sure enough God took him before the service was over. Praise his holy name. He holds the key to death, hell and the grave. Ain't no grave gonna hold my body down!!!

The sad truth is that I've seen more services like this when I was in prison than I've seen out here. I guess most folks have to be in dire circumstances to really want to praise the Lord.

Ain't He just wonderful!!! He is something!! I would love to go this way!! and I know they's people that have!! You know Ill tell this I was at the er room over at the Berea Hosp. about 5 mos ago and I was laying on a bed out in the hallway by the door where the ambulances come in at it was packed and the waiting area was packed!!! Noice just everything all around just chaotic!! you know just everything busy!! the ambulance was bringing in a code blue which I aint't the smartest person but I knew that was not good! and sure enough the man was actually dead on arrival He wasn't just brought in and just a few seconds and they tagged him bless his heart. Well then it really was chaotic because they got to trying to catch up and all but all of a sudden there was the sweetest I mean the sweetest voice aspeaking in tongues you ever heard in your life it was angelic sounding!! and you could have heard a pin drop it just silenced!! just that quick!!! even the copier quit and the phone and all the running and the talking it just stopped!! There is still a reverence for the HOLY SPIRIT!! if I hadn't seen it I would not have belived it!! but you know most of those doctors and nurses there didn't have a clue what that was and didn't blieve in that but they knew to respect it!! Tell me GOD ain't still in control!! OH I praise HIM !!! I thought you know I don't know what those tongues were for if it was for that man that passed or what but it was certainly for me to see that the Spirit is still got some reverence today!! I praise the LORD for that!! I always want to respect HIM and honor HIM and Be in HIS will and I praise HIM that HE saved me that I can be!!! Just wanted to share that and hope it helps someone else!!

I do not know your relationship with the lord. I do know, thou shall not judge. I have been in services were it was so quiet and peaceful it was the holy spirit. I have been in services were the spirit was on fire! healing, dancing, laughing, slain, but, let me tell you. it is real in everybody that excepts the lord. from an opening of the church door, sitting in a pew, dancing in the spirit, singing, to talking in tongues. what gift god gives us is the lords to give us.
Amen and I totally believe (personally) that the more we go in his presence we become quieter just like in heaven where his Shekinah glory dwells and we simply cry holy holy holy but yes I also love to praise God in song and especially dance Psalms 150:6

I am asking the Lord to let me be in one of his family services at their church,but I live in Ohio and the time has not yet come ,but I know one day God will make it happen. God keep blessing him and his ministry.

I married a Assy of God about 13 years ago and pentecost worship is so rich an spritually fulfilling I am so blessed to have married a pentecostal family, would you believe I was raised Curch of Christ , no wonder I rebeled as a teen, but at 17 I was saved sitting on the back porch steps& in 1975 I listened to Jimmy Swaggart at Lunch every day at work and turned my love over to God. A couple of years latter I was filled with the HS!
