I remember Orlando Wiet from UFC 2. he also got knocked out badly by Remco Parduel, but the size difference was significant too. I'd love to see some real Thai fighters in their prime join the UFC . With some basic takedown defense, I think that they would be dominant.
They wouldn't do so well. They would have to massively change their guards and to be at the highest level you need to be great at everything including grappling which these guys wouldn't be very great at.
