I REALLY wish you had said what you were doing as you went along, and gone a little slower so I could follow along (as a new crocheter.) These are so beautiful. Thanks.
Hi, thanks for the input. I am including vocal instructions in my newer videos now. I've always been very camera shy, but I guess I am getting braver :) I do still speed them up where it gets repetitive, just so the video isn't enormously long, but what I intend is for people to see the instruction/demonstration and then pause the vid to do it themselves.
@@SylverSantika Thanks for responding. Don't be shy! Newbies like me really appreciate all the extra help we can get. Have you done a vocal instruction video for this leaf coaster? I would so love it if you did. Thank you!!!
This is a really nice pattern. I surprised myself by being able to do it. I made it bigger so I could see the stitches and now it will be a mat for the teapot! I used a 5.5mm hook and #4 wool. Thanks for this!!
LOS VEO POR PRIMERA VEZ Y ME GUSTA PORQUE TE VAN INDICANDO LOS PUNTOS, AUNQUE SEA EN INGLÉS. BUENA CALIDAD DEL VIDEO E IMAGEN GRANDE PARA QUE SE VEA BIEN. ME GUSTAN LAS INNOVACIONES.
Wanted to post another comment. I have lost count of how many of these coasters I’ve made. EVERYONE loves them!! So I keep having to make more! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This was the first crochet project I've attempted! And it actually turned out pretty good! I messed up in a few places. But my next one will be better :) Thank you for the great instructions!
Nice and easy to follow steps. It was the first pattern I was able to read (did download your pdf)... it meant a lot to me! Congrats and thanks for sharing this
Oh my goodness!!!!!!! I have been crocheting for my whole life. I was a little intimidated with this (tried a paw print coaster and was beyond annoyed with it lol) But this was beautiful!! And fun to watch to take shape!!! It’s a gift for my friend who is moving into her first home with her family and she’s obsessed with succulents!!!! Thank you so very much!!!!! You’re so kind to make this for free!!! And it really helped to have it written on the screen as well !!! I read that you’re worried about your voice on camera…. There was another crocheter worried about that. His name is Fiber Spider. He’s now one of the most successful crochet youtubers!! Have faith in yourself. You make beautiful patterns!!!! 💛💛💛💛💛
I'm having a hard time following your video and the written version you have isn't working. Could you update it please? I'd really love to finish this!
I have a question about the .pdf. You mention to join to the "beginning chain 2" two different times. Can you please clarify this step? I'm not sure what chain 2 you are referencing.
Really cute! But I got lost in the multiple stitches in the first 5 minutes :( Can't count and stitch and watch this video at the same time, unfortunately :(
What I do with video patterns is watch a bit of the instruction, then pause the video to crochet what I saw. Once I'm caught up I watch the next step, pause to crochet, etc.
Written instructions were very helpful. My leaf turned out nice! Thank you for sharing.

What wieght yarn, please?
I was kinda confused with some of the short form since there's no indicator what they mean but other then that this tutorial is amazing 😁

You can change playback speed by clicking on settings. It's very helpful.
She also has a written pattern you can follow the link to and print it. That may help.
its rlly hard to follow as a newbie as there arent any verbal instructions :/
Your hands are always in the way and instructions are not clear at all.
