My ridgie managed to open the pantry door about a year ago and ate about 6 small boxes of sultanas. I wasn't home and the wife didn't want to take him to the vets. Luckily I managed to convince her, and he spent the night there, after having his stomach emptied, and was OK. A lot of people don't realise how toxic they are
I rescued 3 pups in absolutely horrible conditions. Had severe demodex condition. 1 (Widget) almost didn’t make it due to malnourished, fleas, ticks, worms in 20 degree wet conditions. Parents never socialized for (I believe for generations) dog friendly but NOT people friendly. Touch them squeal like a pig, just heartbreaking. Fostered thru local pound, only one was really sociable to be adoptable. I ended up keeping 2 of them and just finally adopted them LOL Foster fail. 2 years later FINALLY figured what breed they are, definitely a mix. He is over 100 lbs, only likes me, sister is alittle more adjustable but he absolutely positively hates change of any kind. He is extremely emotional. Love him dearly. Spoons me every nite to sleep. Their brother who was adopted - (very ill but did survive) new owner got injured and lost her home so now I have TRIPLETS. Wusty - Winnie - Widget. Live in the country and they plenty of yard but Wusty does not jump like his brother and sister. Winnie is the digger, Widget is the Whiner Wusty is the HUGE (Wustinator) one that just like to be near me.
I love you guys! I'm being patient looking for my new Ridgeback pup. I live near San Francisco. I don't mind driving distance. But can you recommend a breeder in Northern California?
Thank-you so much as I didn't no. Cause when I get take aways she's always beginning for some and I do feel gully. But now I no thanks to you. And Thank-you x
I know I'm no expert but alot of the foods like koffie, grapes and garlic have been ingested by all 4 of my dogs at some stage and they haven't been that affected at all , chocolate ,avo and nuts is kept away but anyway , my dogs are all on the older side and they seem pretty healthy and happy , why does it seem that it's a little bit ower reacting?
Mine is actually kind of picky. Except for 1 thing she cannot resist that drives me crazy. Cat shit. No indoor cats here but several neighborhood cats leave 'prizes' scattered around. When outside i have to pay close attention. Is she just sniffing grass or eating cat shit?
please don't give your dog roast pork I made this mistake at Christmas it caused my boy vomiting and Diarrhoea I nearly lost him cost $1500 vet fees I was told its the salt and fat that is not good

Helped me a lot
Really glad to hear it!
What is your opinion on the best dog treat brand that Rhodies love?
hm...I'm baffled at how my parents' golden retriever survived 13 years

Homeopathic Arsenicum album can save a dogs life if they have ingested anything that is causing signs of distress. It's amazing stuff.
