Just so everyone knows, the simulating in Road to Show doesn't count toward your Archetype Progress anymore. They patched it.

no lie its so annoying to play the rtts games. and its literally impossible im trying to get cutter as my first pitch and i keep getting things like forkballs

As a hitter even if you’re out here going 4 for 4 every game for doubles it’s still gonna take hundreds of games to get to the gold archetype for ur character. That’s without the glitchy bug
@@kingofgrim4761 if you download a roster with all 1 ovr players, then put it on beginner, then you can get about 10 ab per game and i got the hawk maxed out in less than a day

How do you bring the reliever into diamond dynasty bullpen, it just says “no valid loadout”
Activate a starting pitcher build and put him in your rotation. Then switch to the archetype you want to use and go into a game: when it asks what archetype you want to use in game it should say no valid loadout, just push X/A and it’ll go passed that screen
I had a nasty pitcher but felt unlucky every game I played w him. Felt the karma so I moved him back to C and hit WS lol
Pretty sure it was patched. People took advantage of this and it made the ball player way to good way to fast.

For anyone still asking about the circle change velo, make sure you max it all the way out, and the pitch speed will only show the 68 mph in diamond dynasty, you can see in movies video that in rtts his circle change shows 82-86

Tbh I’m using mine as a starting pitcher. My rotation is good enough to cover for him. Rotation: 99 deGrom, 99 Shohei, created pitcher, and I forgot the other 2 but most of my rotation throws 100 mph

if you accidently upgraded your circle change velocity or its higher than normal is there a way to fix that? i tried making a new player but it had the same affect.

@@AirR0driguez huh? No changing the slot does nothing for velocity. Just upgrade your circle change velocity wherever it is then go to DD and check the mph

what I did for the rtts stuff, was go through the draft and the 2way games. Then you save your file to the cloud, that way when you want to start over again you just download it and you don't have to watch the cutscenes over and over. Much faster imo
Have you had a problem with loading your CAP pitcher into an RS game? When I start a match, it only gives me the option of choosing a loadout from one of my positional CAPs.. I can’t figure it out.. if anyone else has had this problem, or knows how to fix it, I’d love some tips! Thank You!
@@tedwilson8084 yeah it’s been doing that to me as well. I just click circle, on ps, and it goes into the stadium selection and start the game without picking a load out and it’s worked for me
Several questions. 1. Is screwball better than a 100mph fastball? I am on the fence between these two pitches. Even with 96~97 sinker cutter, 100mph fastball is still very useful. Also I kept my cutter velo down so it's around 93mph, so I can mix it like Rob Dibble or Kerry Wood. 2. I can do a maxed out velo SP with Billy the Kid, just the break is around 80 and K/9 is in high 80s, but he can throw 100 pitches instead of 50. While I know RP gives you more innings over long term, in one game SP that can go 7+ innings gives you better chance of winning. 3. I am using generic 59, which is a submarine delivery. Is sidearm better than that? 4. Recommend lefty or righty? I am going with lefty.

Does every individual pitch need to maxed at 50? I heard somewhere that all that matters is the base stat on the player card reaches 50 for velo, break, control

It shows up faster in RTTS than DD for some reason. Go into DD and check his pitch speeds and it will be slower

You can’t get the progress any more through simming but u can get ur caps to 50
C'mon man I spent a ton of time getting this together. Got raked when I used it. This exact build. Maybe they patched it or did something cus it simply is not "glitchy and overpowered" for those that or thinking spending a ton of time building.

@@EarlRosey you've got to use pinpoint pitching to get the best results. Otherwise it's just unreliable. Since I posted this, I've gotten a lot better.

You want to have your changeup velo high, it makes it slower (I think)
If in the bullpen training you select: "Changeup Velocity" It will slow down instead of speeding up.

An even more disgusting thing about this that needs to be tested is the “glitch” where you can change your archetype pre game ie slick fielder to the hawk to be a catcher if you could do this from rp to so archetypes and regain the stamina like a revived while using your cap in the field that would be absolutely disgusting

When you simulate, the K and innings don’t count towards progression to the archetype pack…..
Did you figure out why none of the IP or K’s got credit toward archetype pack?

I can't get any progressions to save and it only works when I physically play rather than sim. It'll take me at least 90hr gameplay to finish the archetype
You have to actually start the games then click on exit and sim to end and that will count towards progression. I can finish pitcher archetypes in a couple hours in RTTS
@@maddenplayer73 see like ive tried that. I will start a rrts pitching start, maybe pitch the first inning, then sim the rest. The game will only usually pick up on the inning I actually pitched. Ive also found if I'm playing away against an NL team and I skip batting and baserunning it'll also void my pitching stats for the rest of the game. Im so confused how all of these rtts simulation glitchs are working for everybody but me lol.

@@imrxgue1437 I bared down and just grinded it out. Got to houdini archetype and now just tryna get my velos up a little. Playing rookie DD cpu games against the orioles helped me out a lot
Are the sim features not counting toward missions now for archetypes? All my sim options for Rtts are not satisfying any missions. Do you have to actually play them to get those program points for archetype?

U probably figured it out by now, but just in case u didn’t u have to increase ur Changeup velo. Increasing the velo for a changup actually makes it slower.

Adding velo to the circle change actually makes it slower. Also, in rtts it remains at like 86 or something but if you are adding velo to it, then in DD it will slow down

Im not super interested in being glitchy or to take advantage of the games graphics, just wanted to make a really good pitcher. I use john francos wind up because it was the most similar to mine (but as a right) when i played in college.

I just switched over to pagan pitching motion. I use meter and its the same fast speed with people on base and bases empty. Really like the first game with it.
