John Quayle was so bloody good. Imagine a universe without Super league, him in charge for an extra 5-10 years. The game would have been fully National at the turn of the century.
Too many people with too much self interest at the time on both sides. Thank christ they both came together in 1998

As a kid, Sports Sunday used to annoy me. I wished the footy would be shown instead of a dry, dull magazine show haha
