- Join us in this video on a beautiful hike through old growth rainforest to Lake 22. First time, I've tried not to include any voice over or any other human voices, there's only nature and nature sounds in this video. The greenest of green forest and multiple crashing waterfalls and the constant sound of rushing water will keep you entertained.
Throughout the hike, the trail cuts through old growth rainforest, crosses streams and creeks, offers breathtaking panoramic views of rolling mountain ridges and valleys and climaxes at a stunning alpine lake surrounded by steep walls. When the weather is clear, nearby Mount Pilchuck can also be seen.
Lake 22 is located along the Mountain Loop Highway in Mt Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, East of Everett and Northeast of Seattle. The nearest town in Granite Falls.
