What a self pittying C**t About to commite suicide but he films half of ot it. F**K OFF. Your problems are standard. I don't know any one who could even afford the plane fare or even owns a passport to travel. I used to give my mum crack so she wouldn't whore herself for the drug when she was addicted. That fed my family when i was 17. I'm 47 now and have my own seefs. Man up you batty boy. Yoir a grown man!
He had a conscience and the military industrial complex mindfuck didn’t work on him, usa and uk are the worlds biggest terrorists, now look what we are allowing Israel to do, I don’t understand how anyone can still stand with Israel it’s completely evil what they are doing, don’t have to take a side just be neutral and judge for the occupation and apartheid it clearly is..
Another Banger.
Danny Jones, my beloved son died 3 years ago on 4/29/2021 and ive been seeking ever since. I filled the silence left behind with podcastsand I AM SO.GLAD I DID BECAUSE I FOUND THIS! THANKS BRO!!! YOU AND YOUR GUEST HELPED ME TODAY!!!
🌹🌹🌹🌹
rip to your son
What an amazing human being. Great storyteller beating heart for the forest. In this time when everybody’s looking down at their iPhones, not even aware of what’s around them this person represents what humanity should be. So touched by his story.
What a tremendous young man. His story is absolutely heartbreaking like many other vets.
He unintentionally made steps towards recovery it seems. To see him breaking out of his ptsd in an almost intentional manner is amazing.
Damn, quality guest here today. This is a powerful and emotional story.
I can concur at the 42 minute mark, that being out in nature (solo) for at least 10 days will fix your mental state. If you are depressed, grab a tent and some camping gear, and head out into nature. But not for a weekend, it needs to be extended stay.
I wouldn't know because I've never been out in the bush like that but I have suffered from mental health issues in my past and still do to an extent but with my experience being left alone with my thoughts made things worse, for some people they are the worst person to be left alone with especially when you're thoughts are all you have to keep you company, guess it all depends on the person but I wouldn't suggest for just anyone dealing with mental health issues to just distance themselves from the world, if they are truly suffering from schizophrenia or racing thoughts / bipolar or insomnia, "just the few things that I have experience with", I couldn't imagine being out there beneficial if you are dealing with certain issues is all, ( just my opinion )
@@SenerSke Makes sense. If a person has a psychiatric illness they should be treated in a facility, not the wild woods.
I have PTSD it's a psychiatric disorder and one of the most common symptoms is suicidal thoughts, reason I wouldn't recommend just packing up and heading out In the wilderness unless it's something you are already familiar with, I wish I could enjoy it like you and many people do it's just hard when you are dealing with certain things is all, anyways thanks for your time
@@SenerSke Did I mention I was stoned out of my fucking mind on shrooms during my 2 week escape? Cause that really did the trick.
@@SenerSke Anyway, you sound like someone who could benefit from psychedelic treatment therapy. Start low with micro-doses, and then ramp up to 3 grams every 7-days. Cycle between micro and high doses, 6-low, 1-high. Do this for about a month and then stop. The cure takes about another 4-10 weeks to set in as your brain rewires. The psychedelics essentially allow your brain to reform through heightened and rapid onset neuroplasticity. It's a science, read into it. I wish the best in your quest for mind health and overall stability. Fundamentally, remove yourself from humans, first. Solitude and meditation is key. It's a process. I'm lucky I fixed myself but it took me over 3 years to do it. No pharma-dope antidepressant garbage pills. Just space, time, psychedelics, and nature. God works in mysterious way. Take this note from me as a blessing, stranger. Godspeed.
DANNY PLEASE! No more commercial breaks just as I’m about to start bawling at the rescue of a poor Ocelot! 😅
So there I was with this baby cat…PXG GOLFCLUBS ARE THE ABSOLUTE FUCKING SHIIIIIIT
Then we connected on a spiritual level…
Full blown jackass move, right there
Relax, we just watched this phenomenal story, for free. The Man has to put that studio together and pay people etc etc, ffs we can tolerate a few ad breaks so the man can earn a few quid ☮️
@@psilosimon613 Lol yeah I understand how that works, to add to that, someone gets paid to choose where to put the ads. I agree with you, it’s not really a big deal. But that might’ve been the worst ad placement I’ve seen, I’d argue that there’d have been a huge value in putting it 2 minutes sooner or later. Yes, we got the full story, but we also got robbed of the FEELING of it, just as the emotional connection was welling up. That’s important sometimes. Weird way to troll your audience but that’s just my 2 cents.
This guy seems a lot more level headed and honest than a lot of your other guests.
This guy is a little too anti-humanity for me. And he is completely uneducated about how many animals are killed by farming and harvesting. Being vegan doesn't stop you from killing animals it just means you are killing different kinds of animals. Also, hunting one animal does not affect an ecosystem the way he thinks it does. In the US hunting actually helps because there are too few natural predators. It is much more humane to control the deer population than to let them starve to death.
don't throw the water out with the bathwater... Even if the plan was to drown the kid LOL
This guy is crazy AF
@@noraashy9489 Lol. Laughed at this one. Straight to the point: Crazy.
11B Infantry Old Guard Soldier Here - God Bless You, Brother.
Fuck America
From a civilian who missed his chance and look up to gentleman like you as heroes. May God bless you and your family may God bless you for your service and sacrifice.
Wow what a heavy story… so tragic how ex-soldiers are left to struggle like this! Amazing he pulled himself out of it.. incredible human and so inspiring!
Harry “I don’t want to really speak to much on it. Because I don’t want to and I want people to look into khans story”
Danny “let’s talk about those automatics traps with shotguns aimed at them”
Ha!!!! I JUST came here to post that same shit!!!!
Not yet finished listening but this mans strength and kindness to share his mental struggles and how he overcame them is really inspiring‼️ W/ Love & Respect 🫡
This was such a powerful story and Harry is an outstanding young man. A real man with immense integrity and ability to self-reflect.
Oh my god Harry I loved your film and fell into it online and was blown away by it. I am so happy to find you doing this podcast with Danny!!! First Im so happy to see you are ok and second you are a good man and I am so grateful for your life experience. I lost my daughter to brain cancer 4 years ago in November. I was mentally where you were. Your documentary gaVe me hope to repair myself. Thank you and all the best to you Harry. So happy for you and the cats and everything.
I’m glad I waited 30 mins to hear his story I feel for all those who have served and seen the horrific horrors of war.
Danny Jones, thanks for another great guest and interview.
This is my favorite interview so far. Harry Turner sounds almost Australian: is there a connection?
Wait is he not Australian?
@@Unifiedlight he’s British
I thought that too
I wondered that, too. Apparently, Welsh accents are similar and so are Southeast England ones.
Scariest animal to encounter in the Amazon is another human, because u can’t tell what its intentions are. Wow, as someone who has been mistreated, abused, and left with depression and ptsd I really felt that hit home
❤ I hear ya
Hope you’ve found peace in your life. Overcoming abuse and trauma is no easy feat. Sorry for any abuses done to you. ✌️💚
From one human being to another , love and respect x
So glad you are still here Harry. What a story.
Most fascinating and inspirational podcast yet. Strange comments. Maybe I'm strange LOL
Already hooked on the episode ! great sound quality btw 👍
I remember watching Wildcat and was so captivated it was truly an incredible viewing nothing had ever quite drawn me in as much as that film. Wasn’t expecting to see this podcast but so happy it happened!

Yessss love harry! Being im the jungle with paul rosolie, harry turner, and the rest of the crew year after year are my absolute fondest memories
The little girl was not your fault; it is the leaders of country/ies. Thank you for crying! YOU are my Hero!!! You have a friend in Maryland USA!! Thank you both!!!!
There is a lot of love out there for this great man😭💯🧡
Everyone has their own knowledge of something their life was missing when visiting the Amazon is what I’m hearing from everyone in these podcast interviews. There’s more to life than your everyday that you’ve grown into over the years. Before it gets to late I need to wake up and pay attention to everything going on around me constantly.
Wildcat was a beautiful documentary. Much love.
What an amazing guest! All pure kindness! Thank you for this podcast, Danny!
Excellent interview! The documentary is at the top of my list of favorites.
Really great interview!
Your interview with Harry was truly captivating and inspirational. Keep up the great work Danny.

Really enjoyed listening to this fella, Hes certain been through some shit and continues to battle through. Truly inspiring.
what a compationate amazing young man. the world needs him
Woah ;o what a brilliant guest! Great episode
Wow. This guest was incredible. What a really amazing human.
this guy is mixing things: people in peru are smaller by altitude (like nepal). The large people are in patagonia (current south argentina) and spanish people leave this zone very soon, in fact argentina's people (once independized from spain) killed the natives and not the spanish.
omg so real and raw. thank you for sharing what so many can't articulate
Great story, loved it!!
I live in the PNW and we have some warm summers, but droughts aren't a problem. Glad to have you join our PNW family.
just watched the documentary. incredible.
Real interesting interview
Top 10 episode, Top 10 Guest, #1 Podcast. This one sent me NGL.
Fascinating!
Quality podcast. What a story.
Every experience is different. That is life in itself
i only clicked on this to save it for later.
two hours in and I'm gladly late for work 😂
Another Danny jungle special 🎉
Thanks for this post. I was about to sign up for the army
❤
Watched Wildcat on Amazon Prime. Great doc.
Catching a Donkey actually sounds fun 😂
I loved the documentary, it was pretty emotional when he had to let it go
this is just beautiful best regards from Serbia
GLUED to the screen what an amazing guy I could listen to him all day
Really great podcast Danny. I have a question though. When he said he didn't want to talk about Khan's death and you asked anyway was that so you had better content or you were just oblivious to the correct navigation of consideration to him?
Hit every nail on the head, where can we sign up to the cause?
Wow, I like to say "Danny" I love your podcast and your amazing guests, and "Harry" is just amazing !! but I can't finish this one... I tried and tried but it hurts so much to listen on how much he has been through and it hurts to see how this is going on this Earth, maybe cause I am in a not a good place .. I don't know, but I like to thank you for bringing this out to the world... We need to hear, on how we are hurting Our People, Our Animals, and Our Earth.
As an American, I cannot tell the difference between this dude's accent and an Aussie.
I’m Canadian and I was thinking the exact same thing
As an Englishman I totally thought he was Australian
As a Aussie he sounds like a pom who has spent a long time in Australia
I thought he was Italian
With the tats I shall declare him of New Zealand origin.
What an awesome guy
Brave fellow
Poor man hope you can make peace ❤
Fantastic story .From the uk
Wholly shit what a full on story and a awesome dude Harry is what a life experience he has had so far with the shocking atrocities from war at a young age to the amazing Amazon life in the jungle .
Powerful guy man
What a cool guy.
As an 🇺🇸 the "guy called" thing is funny af, been noticing with everyone from across the pond 😂
Super beautiful.
💜
Guest: I dont wanna speak too much about what happened with Kahn
Danny: yeah.... so what about those shotgun trigger traps?!
So glad to be introduced to this man and his work. Great stuff.
Does anyone else fast forward through the dumb golf add pitch he gives, how great some golf brand is? Like, someone please push me off the cliff. Beyond that, this specific interview, was as great as it comes.
I just mute it and go get some cookies
They must be paying him SO much for that. I'm happy to watch his ads about new age supplements and things that are good for your health, but golf clubs ?? Really ?? Seems antithetical to his ethos and mindset, but then again who knows ?? Maybe Danny's a passionate golfer and plays off a sick handicap 🤷♂
What up danny!
I wanna seei wanna see a podcast of u and Ben making up and talking it out with his whole family.
Profound
22:05 yes. I was in LSA Anaconda and the bad guys were bombing us daily. Some of them worked inside the gate with us. No way to proved it but the bad guys were working inside in all the bases, that’s why one of them took a dining facility with over 100 troops eating at the time. He was able to walk in with a vest and detonated himself.
I've noticed a strong cat pee scent when in the Colorado backcountry, and have seen lots of paw prints, but have yet to see a cougar or a bobcat.
I'm sure they were taught to have the " Hearts and Minds" as a way of relating to and convincing the public there that they were there to help
I did the barb, I got a radio operator position 😂😂
Must be my deep voice 😂
I failed the medical in Pirbright so that was my army career.. 😡👍
Great interview. From a fellow warrior, thank you for your service.
Where we function correctly we do it flawlessly.
Issue being it's becoming rarer and those people abstracting the work are corrupted
Bro did 1 summer in Australia and picked up an accent 😂
If Harry Potter was Slithering Alumni
Elijah Wood’s really changed since LOTR.
I'm absolutely with him in the discussion about not depleting the rainforest and not hunting out all the animals but not when he talks about hunters going and getting three or four pigs to bring them back to the village. Look the Amazon forest has grown substantially for the past couple of centuries and there has been lots of massive poaching and logging I don't think hunting a few pigs or whatever kind of animal is going to make any kind of significant change to the forest because at the end of the day everybody even the animals have to eat.
Where can I find his doc.
