Yeah, anti-heal works on lifesteal, I'd also suggest any time you are building a single crit item, grab malice instead of deathbringer, it will do more damage for less cash.

High Tide Poseidon. Attack/Move Speed Poseidon. Shoes > Fatails & Winged Blade > Double Rings > Any Pen Item or Gem of Isolation (because Gem Whirlpool OP). You'll moving around the map at speeds even Mercury would be envious of. Plus, The Attack speed make his two scale the way Freya's one and two scale. Also, you can use your two both for offense, siege/objective control, and as a pseudo Sprint (which stacks with Sprint nicely). Not a super burst-y mage, but my gods is he fast and versatile, since almost all of his spells have some amount of cc (even more when you build a Gem on him). Maybe you might want the gem before your rings, but you'll still want both rings before long.

I started playing this character today and with the double favor, worshippers, and XP week I was able to get him to the first mastery rank, and I enjoy using him. I honestly don't care if I get angry death threat messages on my Xbox. I'm gonna keep playing Loki. ^_^
Burgermeister people tend to not like him because most people play him very ult reliant. If you play against a good Loki who knows how to play and sustain well and poke even without ult he can actually be a fun opponent.

+Majeed Belle I was thinking something similar, like hydras. However, because he is lifesteal and liefsteal only works on basics, then the occassional crit will juice lokis health back up massively. So I think crit may be the better option
i think to make this build more viable in a normal match, maybe replace one life steal for a fatalis that way you can constantly stick to people and suck all their health
I haven't even used this build, and I made it XD (name is different on here than Twitter and Smite). I think when I play this though I may swap Soul Eater or Asi with a Jotun's for the cooldown, mana, and extra pen

roots aren't hard cc anything that only works on hard cc such as spirit robe and magi's blessing says on the item 'hard cc and roots' you can tell because it doesn't pop nem shield

Your correct, weakening curse applies to all healing. Including but not limited too, lifesteal, executes, and basic heal abilities.
Fastidious means staying (or keeping things) super clean, or being very concerned (attentive?) to detail. :)

Just in case you haven't read Weakening Curse's rebuffs, it does apply to Lifesteal, I believe a 45% debuff.
