The 700 twin is the best sportsman ever. Not too big, not too small, reliable, and plenty of power for its size. Only got rid of mine because at the time, I needed money more than an atv.
If you are in 2 weel drive and it kicks into 4 wheel drive your front diff is broke. It’s a Hillyard clutch in there. In needs cleaned or rebuilt. John Deere parts are cheaper than Polaris. FYI
I honestly have no idea i don't know much about these particular machines. I would just check the spark on both cylinders just to make sure its not miss firing
I’ve got a 2002 Polaris 700 twin and I didn’t use the foot brake to put it in high and now my shifter is out....should of seen this comment a month ago
@@jacobdoesstupidstuff9358 I just have a 400 but I always use the foot brake for H and Park, I buddy has a 600 and he’s doesn’t use his so it’s getting rough.

I'm a can am guy but I like the sound of the old Polaris
It does sound pretty good
Love my 700 the sound is great
Polaris 4x4 on demand system only engages when it senses the rear wheels slipping. That's why you notice it when you hit the gas.
I hate that lmao
@@fastback4882 I do too it’s hard to do donuts with it
@@jacobdoesstupidstuff9358 who does donuts in 4wd
It kicks in whenever the tires spin so whenever you to to drift or do donuts it kicks in

Fastback 488 hey I’ve been having a problem with mine, once you hit 15mph it wants to die and burns a little bit of oil. What could be causing it?

Have you checked your TB boot? Also check to make sure the Air Box is secured tightly with the lid and check all rubber leading past the TB.
