I stopped playing as soon as the pet update came out… ruined the game
I have left adopt me about a year ago. I was getting sick of the kids scamming and them hacking my account to get my pets. Many of the kind players have quit for this same reason therefore leaving the game full of scammers. I think this might also be a main reason why adopt me is dying.

Imma be real adopt me was never fun it was addictive it was a gambling game and we all tricked into thinking it was fun when In reality everything you do in the game is get enough currency to gamble for a small chance to get a good pet just to trade it to get a better pet and once u get the pet of ur dreams is when u realize there is nothing else to do. The only thing you can do is gamble to get pets.
it was fun, you hatch pets and you either age them or trade them. its not gambling, just people having fun with pets or trading.

Yeah, agreed. Adopt me is dying. I quit around a year ago to immense scammers, and after the trading license came out, we were fine till scammers came up with new ways. It saddens me that a role-play game can turn into chaos with pets. Adopt me is a pet game just to show off. I came back later in Adopt Me when my younger friends were playing it. They got scammed. Not a good place to be.
Adopt me was fun, but they didn’t rlly add much. It felt like whenever you logged it you were just eating the same pop tart over and over again without any flavor. The only reason it was fun was if you had really good pets. You just traded and logged off. Most of the time I just logged in to keep my daily streak but eventually I didn’t even care. It was fun, it was. But they should have switched it up. Eventually most people just threw the pop tart in the trash and forgot about it. Personally I think it’s to late to fix. They’re in to deep.
I’m not suprised tbh, Adopt Me kinda just wastes ur time like if u lose anything u don’t get it back so what’s the point people get scammed ALL THE TIME and hacked tbh I’m really happy nobody else will have to go through that after this 🤷♀️
Something like this is only natural, you can't hang onto the same basic, grindy, and brain rotting mechanics with little to no changes except more shiny stuff to last. Doing the same thing over and over again with little effort, only waiting isn't fun for anyone not a little kid, and eventually people move on from their favorite games.
Games rise and fall time and time again, and though they won't be as popular, they will still have a big player base. Like, look at jailbreak, back in 2017-2018 it was untouchable, but over time, more new and interesting games came about, and it was shifted from it's #1 spot. However it's still going strong and receiving updates, just not as massive as it used to be.

2. Pay to win
3. Robux
4. People only care about pet doesn't like to role-playing anymore
5. Hacked accounts
6. When it comes to events only last about 14-20 days so you need to spend your time on it or the events will leaving soon
7. Annoying people Beggin you or you don't accept their offer and their call you scammed
8. It gets boring
9. Not hate for the developers but the developers seem kinda gold digger to me i mean why they make items soooo expensive and need to pay robux for that

I quit adopt me like 1 year ago, because it got boring and you could easily get scammed. It's just about trading and growing, and the pet updates aren't that exiting anymore because they are mainly focusing on toys and gifts now. I think it's been Roblox's most popular game for a good while now.

Yes I agree but one thing is making me quit so it's how unfair each player is, let me explain so you could have a blue dog and some Jerk who has a shadow still does not think it's worth it even though you are completely over. Idk if it's just me but they don't give you enough time to add or type it irritates me and people cross trade which you can't do all the time and lastly no one knows values and just cares about being the best in the game it's a toxic community and ever since brookhaven came out adopt me is dying they are plotting their own dealth.

Same! I love the community so much during those times! People randomly giving you items, especially parents to their child. Until mid or late 2020, a lot of new players noticed the game and they were all so greedy. Scams everywhere. I remember people I played with that game don’t play it anymore too. I kinda miss the old version of the game but the developers gained more money in this kind of setup. Kinda feel bad for the kids crying over their items being scammed tho. And adopt me be really milking them a lot 🫠

You know now that I think about it I remember my sister playing adopt me as an OG before pets are in the game and she remember how she got adopted by player parents and they where nice... Well that is... Until the pets arrived their where Blue and Pink eggs and my sister doesn't understand a thing... And at this point pets are becoming popular during the years... But my sis wasn't happy and she said this: I can't believe no one is adopting me and the daycare is empty... What is the purpose of the Daycare their are no adoption and the pets are just the importance of this game and even worse scams... I quit this game is not the same.

I remember me and my brothers were playing before pets and were so excited when they came out. We were actually at the beach when it happend so we made our parents stay at the hotel with us for 2 extra hours so we can see the uptate.
I stopped playing adopt me because of the trading. I mean, there is nothing wrong with the trading itself, but it got out of hand. The point of the game was to roleplay and adopt kids, now that the pets were added along with trading coming back, it’s all about trading for the best pet in the game. It’s very rare I ever see anyone roleplay in adopt me anymore and it’s kind of sad because the game was so fun when everyone still roleplayed. Now there are just a bunch of scammers and traders spamming the chat 24-7. Although even if adopt me were to get rid of trading (which they obviously won’t), at least a third of their players would probably leave which shows that trading is practically what the game has become. It really sucks

I think the game adopt should listen to this dhar man phrase. “Old isn’t always gold.” But at the same time I think the roleplay was the the thing that started the game too so it’s kinda like side and side

Also one of the reasons why adopt is dying is because of the updates. In 2021 they made most of the updates robux and some people can't afford robux.
I personally loved adopt me it was my childhood game but soon i felt like it was a choir to log in every day and not just adopt me kind all of roblox to was becoming boring i never liked brookhaven very much but still i was so sa when my fav game adopt me was losing players... honestly my interest shifted and now i only play roblox once a month or less :( im sorry :((((( roblox :(

Adopt me is still a really popular game, but the developers are finally banning all the scammers cause if you go into the game you will see a random chat pop up in the chat saying “trust trades are not allowed, you will be banned” so they are finally working on fixing all the scams so scammers can finally be destroyed! I quit adopt me in 2022 because I got scammed for my bat dragon but I rejoined this year and it’s been really fun. Adopt me had gotten less popular over the years but once the developers fix all the scams I think it’s gonna be revived

As someone whos played adopt me before pets where released I feel like it had its time in the spot light I still play adopt me to this day BUT I will admit when they update the game every Friday or every week it doesn't seem exciting anymore. Now Its just like "oh Adopt Me has a new update again" So I feel like if they update it less (maybe every month or every other month) it would be more exciting.
if people do see this I know someone's gonna ask why I still play it, the answer is simple it was a big part of my childhood and i play it for the nostalgia even though all of the original buildings are gone, maybe if they had another game where it was just the original Adopt Me with all the original builds and things it would probably get more active players.
Well i have some good and bad news for you
Good: they have an oficial old Adopt me game, where there are no pets and its just like when the game released.
The bad news is: It costs 25 robux to play 😔
I stopped playing because it’s all about trading now and the name “adopt me” is pretty misleading since the game is now all about trading and i really hate that. Nobody wants to play like before and it’s all about spending money on pets :(

Personally this is the reason I lost interest: Event items became expensive it became (non robux player friendly), there's alot of scammers, time consuming game
(And there's one thing I still liked in the game but they had to really change it , it was Easter events thr prices are expensive and now you can buy the eggs with robux which u can't before so before u actually needed to grind and not obux but the expense of the items it seems like they're trying to get people to use robux and Don't even get me started on the Christmas update)

I think the reason I don't play adopt me anymore is it doesn't really have the same feel to it. I came in the Halloween update 2021 and it felt so good to be in it. I just feel like they have changed the game too much. Also another reason is my friend ghosted me so she also unfriended me and we played adopt me together. So I had to play it on my own and it got pretty boring
Do little kids really have fun just trading pets on a game, rather than other games that could bring more action. Also the game just changed from adopting babies to "ABC TO TRUST TRADE". Never played the game after they just constantly added pets, a couple years back.
I really liked adopt me when it came out, getting bucks was hard and when you got them you had a lot of satisfaction.
Now you can get a ton of bucks while playing ALONE.
the point of this game is to play with others, take care of the babies.
But since the pets came it the game lost its fresh gameplay....

Yeah completely agreed I’ve been playing the game for the last 4 years and I have witnessed every major update and their not the same as they used to be I can’t tell that’s it’s because I’m getting older or the game just fell off but the enjoyability of the game has definitely lessened and the remaining community is rather toxic you can go into any server with decently wealthy players and you will se what I mean I personally only play for my login streak if it wasn’t for that I would have left already
A reason I feel it’s dying is I have tried to start new and it’s not fun no one cares for the pets that new players can get so they will never get the old as the people who own the old pets only want other old pets. The only reason I still play is because I played from the start so have the pets I want and can get them

I quiited Adopt me and played jailbreak back. Firstly, Adopt me is boring and repetitive i mean lots of scammer and begger which make us can't enjoy playing game. Jailbreak in other hand also reptitive but however it's not that boring, in jailbreak; most peoples will grind to get cash, only few players who want to trade based in my experience.

Well i like adopt me game and i playing the adopt me game for over 1year But i quit on that game bcause of Reasons!!!
Reason 1- Alot of scammers and beggers like they scamming players to get pets and beggers too which is annoying in a game whenever i join in public servers
Reason 2- always updating robux pets
Well the adopt me is keep updating which is player need to grind more and the adopt me become greedy asf which is players get bored and tired bcause of those update and alot of players doesn't have money to buy pets than other players that have money

The rarest thing is keruku and it's 150-225-250k!
Also there's no thing as such it's easy to get it but it's easier to get it than shadow dragon.
I got it from 10 months of hard work and it's so fair!

The biggest creature was in a Christmas event back in 2020 and it was 1k mushrooms.
Now they did return the 2021 Christmas events but they added 4 new creatures!
And now boreal is 22.5k.
