Thank you for the honest review. I can see why you wished for plastic cards. I guess there are pros and cons for this. Maybe I will laminate one of my decks. For me the versatility is amazing. Plus - you can adapt to so many scenarios and styles. The material provided with this sparks the wish to come up with own ideas. I plan actually to gift the cards to some of my friends to plant a seed for a magical moment when they really are in need of one.
The fact that it is only half a usual deck and that the cards are of landscape design really helps of moving away from the perception of „cards“ - I name them „posters to go“😅

Great review. I love Phill Smith's "optical marking systems". He seems to be working with quite a few creators right now. I think Craig Petty is coming out with another Lego themed deck that has similar markings. Probably another monsterly long tutorial. I really don't like motivational or inspirational doctor office type posters but I can see that this has tons of possibilities. Lego is more my style. I think I'll wait until after Blackpool is over and new releases are out. Craig explains on one of his videos almost how all of the markings work and it sounds really intriguing.

Thanks fir the review, I got it and also like it, however I agree with you and would've preferred plastic cards.
I was wondering, do you do a book test in your normal performances (either in stage or walk around/close up, or both)?

Yes! I vary between Enigma by Christian Grace, Baby Book, Sherlock Holmes, Glance 3.0 and Gatsby Book test!

@@sebastiantoca9208 Thanks, I didn't realise Enigma was a book test as well!

@jayplays568 It is not a book test per se, but it achieves essentially the same thing. someone thinks of word and you guess it (but here there is no physical book).

@@sebastiantoca9208 I put a marked deck in stebbins. I can create some good effects like that also.

its a cleverly made prop but all it is is a dressed up deck of cards. people will realize that its not real mindreading and doesnt compare to mentalism with billets.
