I"m trying to wrap my head around a father that was warned by authorities that his son was threatening a school shooting, and knew he was troubled and still provided him with a high powered AR-15 type weapon and the ammunition. Yes, he goes to jail.
Justice? Years, mental health evaluations, appeals. Enough is enough. Some people are just screwed up beyond repair and should not be permitted to breathe the same air. That sounds harsh, yes I know. Citizens have a right to go to work or school and not leave in a body bag.

The media didn't say if it was really an AR-15 which used 5.56mm NATO ammunition. They only said that it was AR-15 style. Probably most people (especially Democrats) don't know that there are AR-15 style semi-automatic rifles that are 22s. They look VERY much like an AR-15 but they use 22LR ammunition and aren't any more deadly than a regular style 22 rifle. You are correct that it would have been totally irresponsible for his father to buy his 13 year old son a real AR-15 but, that is not the case if it was a 22 look alike.
