    I've seen these along time ago at cades cove campground. This is great! Most places I camp don't have showers. (National parks) This is a great addon! And runs off campers 12v! 👍👍🤟🤟

    I would also like to know if the heat generated by the tankless heater would deform the Pelican case, maybe a heat shield above the heater would be appropriate. The concept and installation are impressive.

      We haven’t had any issues with but I suppose it wouldn’t be difficult to add a shield later on.

    Can you let me know the sizes of the 90* elbow adapters required? I need to order some

    Hey I am working on a similar system, how did you mount the pelican case to the body of the trailer ? Wondering if I need some sort of rubber gasket between the box and the exterior wall of the camper itself. I recently bought a Hiker Trailer and I am happy with it but I did notice that they didn’t use any sort of gasket on any of the mounted accessories. Love you’re channel thanks brother 👍

    The exhaust from the heater doesn't melt the plastic pelican case?

    how does the pelican case hold up to the heat coming out the top of the water heater?

    • @WanderTears
      @WanderTears  ปีที่แล้ว

      We haven’t had any problems with it but adding a shield would be simple enough to have peace of mind.

    Do you have a parts list of the 90* fittings you used so that you didn’t have to drill through the pelican

    Why did you choose to not mount it on the lid for better venting of the heat?

    Where did you get the 90° connectors for your water inlet and outlet

    • @WanderTears
      @WanderTears  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That can be found on amazon. It's just a brass 90˚ fitting for a hose. Here is a link: amzn.to/3V3OkyQ

    What the weight of the trailer? I have a Honda pilot. Wondering if I can pull with it?

    • @WanderTears
      @WanderTears  ปีที่แล้ว

      Our lightest version weighs around 900lbs. Max weight can get up to 1600lbs. I believe it would be close to the max on your Pilot. You would definitely want trailer brakes to assist with slowing the weight down.

    • @ericj810
      @ericj810 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depending on your pilots engine and model you can pull 3600 to 5000 lbs with it. At 1600 lbs most states don't require trailer brakes for your vehicle class. If you pull 3000 with it id go for trailer brakes and a p3 proportional brake controller. But 900 to 1600 you wouldn't need the brakes just light hookup. Maybe 4pin hookup.

    Doesn't like extra stuff that goes wrong or needs maintenance but puts in a water heater on his micro camper 😂
