BamBam's highlight medleys are always so freaking good, his last one also left me SPEECHLESS
THE BACK STORY INFO YOU NEED LOL Jayb & Jinyoung debuted as actors first together in a korean drama called Dream High 2 due to their popularity JYPE decided to form a project group with just the 2 of them before GOT7 debuted as group. Some of the GOT7 members are in the bounce MV as extras. jinyoung was 17 and Jayb is 18 in the bounce MV. (Yug & bam were still too young to debut at this time they were only 14) jinyoung was a rapper at the start in jjp because he was going through puberty & his voice was changing. He still raps occasionally in GOT7 when the boys force him lol but he doesn’t like to rap lmao GOT7 often performs Bounce as a full group now for encores!
Ghost is a song that Bambam Made to commemorate his father who passed away. Since Bambam was 3-4 years old, he couldn't remember his father's face because he was so young. In memory of his father That is, he wears glasses all the time. In the dream, he felt his father watching. his path of success but unable to touch I can't hug.🥺
In this highlight medley is BamBam's dream path with family, friends and Ahgase. It's the perfect short film. who always loved and watched his path Just saw it and understood this piece of art. that BamBam communicates with us He is the perfect artist. 💕

Bambam is a dancer since kid, his audition was dance, he is an amazing dancer. Sometimes people forgot he even won dance competitions since kid. But yes, he can move! 🤸✨

Bounce is so good that all of Got7 redid it. It's a fun watch and there's videos of them having the time of their lives.
Verse #2 shows off JB and Jinyoung's maturity level in the busines. It's very, shall I say, chique and sophisticated.
The entire album is a classic and my favorite, if I have to choose, would be Icarus. Mainly because I'm partial to anything having to do with Greek Mythology :)
JJProject Verse 2 is such a unique album. Both Jay B and Jinyoung put so much effort in writing it and all songs are amaizing.
Jay B is actually the oldest, they're one year appart
They are not 1 year apart. They are 8 months apart.
Jay B is January and Jinyoung is September.
They were both born in 1994. For me, it's just same age.

You really need to see the live stage for Tomorrow Today, and also the VERSE 2 album is GOLD, listen to it :).
Bounce is so iconic, back when Jinyoung called Junior was wild and free , JJ project was also in the Kdrama Dream High 2 they were already popular before debuting as Got7...just so you know the other members always tease them about that era and ahgase know there is no better way to piss off Jinyoung than calling him Junior ( JYP himself asked him to change his stage name to Junior because they are both Park Jinyoung so there was no confusion, he later reclaimed his name lol...). Tomorrow today is one of my favorite song, the meaning is so deep. Can't wait for Bambam album he never disapoints Sour & Sweet is already out and it's a masterpiece 💚💚

Jaebeom said that Tomorrow, Today choreo was inspired from JJ Project themselves, because they found that they both often mirroring each other and so unbelievably in sync (you can search the fan compilation video of JJP in sync moments, there's a lot), so that's why the whole choreo we can see them mirroring each other. Fun fact: Jaebeom and Jinyoung won 1st place for JYPE 5th open audition together in 2009, the only time an open audition gave 1st place to 2 people, eversince then they were always together, debuted as actors in Dream High 2, and then as JJ Project in 2012, later re-debuted again as member of GOT7 in 2014. Fun fact: this is the reason why the fandom calls them as soulmates. Like they were meant to be with each other from the start. They have of course kind of different personalities but there are many instances where their minds and actions are in sync. And it's totally amazing that since they won together, debuted together more than once, they have also been the leaders of the group not just because they started as JJP but because their aura to the members have been like actual parents(the members actually said Jinyoung acts like a mom and JAYB acts like a dad) and that is because they have a deep understanding of each other even if they did admit there were times that they do have off moments (because they were still young, both of them were still playful and JAYB was still hot-headed that time), but as years pass by, they would tell fans that there's "no questioning of how deep their friendship is" anymore between the two of them. It's like saying, you already see how deep it is, don't ask anymore. So that's why they've been called soulmates like the fandom would have this inner humor about them that they can't resist each other, and many times, Jinyoung is the only member where JAYB can't get past to. LOL For real, JAYB names Jinyoung on his phonebook as "The real leader" (of GOT7). And if you watch their interviews, it's really obvious that both adore each other so much. It's like a given, we shouldn't be shocked anymore but sometimes we're still teasing ourselves how they are with each other. There's a connection so deep that it always shows even with their subtle actions like eye contact or facial expression when they are together or even when they are with the other members.
You should really listen to the whole JJ Project Verse 2 album, it's a masterpiece, it even listed as one of the 25th greatest kpop album in a decade (2000-2020) by Billboard, its THAT good. I also recommend you to watch their live performance singing all the songs from Verse 2 album, find the 'JJ Project Orgel Live' and 'JJ Project Verse 2 Showcase', Jaebeom & Jinyoung voice is SO good, and match each other really well, they're my favorite too! ps: i will comment on separate comment for the behind story of Tomorrow, Today choreography, i hope you read my comments..

They were 18! Possibly Jinyoung was still 17. Both are born in 1994. Jay B was born in January and Jinyoung in September. Just babies!
They did Verse 2 for their 5th Anniversary of JJ Project! Total masterpiece! It was also selected as one of the top 5 or top 10 albums of 2017.
Whoever decided to have them as a duo project was a genius😭I feel like they compliment each other real well but they did my bae jinyoung wrong with his hair in earlier years but his face does enough to pull it off🤭 still so in love with tomorrow, today
okay. so for bambam's album:
--> he performed take it easy a while ago in Thailand as a single (im pretty sure its not yet released officially tho, so no official performance)
--> ghost is about his dad. sadly his dad passed away when he was young so he and his mom have said that the song is dedicated to his dad. and the animation of his dad being faceless is because he was very young when it happened so he can't visualize what his dad would look like.
--> for let's dance, bam has always been such a great dancer but jyp didn't give him the opportunity to show that before. so we're so happy he gets to explore that more. P.S. he did a similar concept for "who are you - ft seulgi" i really recommend checking that out!!

JJ Project's "Verse 2" is such a good album, it has a lot of my comfort songs like "Coming Home" and "Icarus"

Track 3: Ghost
It's a song that BamBam wrote for his father. Tells about a memory of when he was 3 years old when his father passed away. he can't remember his father face anymore. Just remembered that dad wore glasses and was tall. But even if the memory is low But I always felt my father near. It's estimated that even if you don't see it, you know that it still exists. therefore brought into animation. ( I hope you understand what I explain.)

Btw, the mirorring choreo in Tomorrow, Today is because Jayb & Jinyoung is indeed usually so in sync, so the choreo reflects them too. It’s truly art. You should check Verse 2 album as a whole, if’s amazing

According to the lunar (Asian) calendar the new year doesn't begin on January first. It can be two to four or five weeks later depending on the lunar placements. Jay B was born on January 6, 1994, which is still part of 1993. So he is one year older in Korean age.
Mark is the eldest member, however, Jay B is the leader (chosen by the members, I think). So, it's Jay B, first. Mark is second. Then Jackson and Jinyoung both born in 1994, but after the lunar new year. Then there is Youngjae, Bam Bam, and Yugyeom.
The shock when you saw Jinyoung (Jr back then) rapping 😂😂😂 it’s always hilarious people seeing a reaction to bounce also seeing super extra, Jinyoung was super hyper like bam bam in the early days this is super funny seeing the contrast with when he debuted with got7 you really saw that since he was a part of the oldest he chilled himself.
But even in got7 he was rapping in the early days

I absolutely recommend you listen to the rest of Verse 2 (the album that 'Tomorrow, Today' is from). It's a no-skip album for me. They performed most (if not all) the tracks live on Vlive, which you can find here on YT: th-cam.com/video/D4R4fZWsu68/w-d-xo.html and it was perfection!
Also Verse 2 is JJP's album from 2017. You have to hear that album. It is so good. All songs by them including a solo song by each of them.
JJP debuted in 2012 (17-18yo), 2 years before GOT7 debuted. They're still considered a unit of GOT7, though. Imagine how much whiplash we went through when they came back with 'Tomorrow, Today' after 'Bounce'! And yes, Jinyoung (Jr back then) debuted as the main rapper of JJP after auditioning for JYPE with dance, then re-debuted as a lead vocalist for GOT7 haha. Man's got range! His members have referred to his rapping as 'math-like', because it's very precise and on-time, quite different from typical rappers. I love hearing his rap, though, because he enunciates the words completely differently from when he sings or speaks. Idk if it's 2nd gen JYPE rap training, because I feel like Taecyeon gives me a similar vibe (Junho and Taecyeon performed Bounce with JJP at JYPnation, which is GOLD and you should absolutely watch!)
JayB is just 8months older than Jinyoung and Jinyoung is his original maknae and troublemaker. Haha. Verse2 will forever be my healing album
JJProject started before GOT7 and there's still tons of Joyous (JJP Fandom) until now including myself. Hehe. I knew it's just a matter of time before you say Jinyoung's included in the bias list. But I feel you, cause same. XD

Bounce feels mad different from Tomorrow Today because Bounce was written by JYP and Tomorrow Today (and the album) was written almost entirely by Jay B and Jinyoung and they'd grown a lot
I just did a quick scroll on your prev vids and I think you hadn't checked out Bam's 'Who Are You' with Seulgi? (Or did TH-cam search fail me 😒)
It was a huge favorite for so many of us and I was so happy to see Let's Dance because they're of similar style and I love dancer BamBam so much 💚

both of them went for audition on 2009 n miraculously won 1st place together (it's JYP Ent. 1st time announcing double 1st place)..
they both actually auditioning for their dancing skills..
n the fun part is the company let them debut as actors..
Dream High 2 is their acting debut drama..
then, they finally debut as JJ Project with Bounce album later on the same year (2012)..
n yes, our Jinyoung (Jr.) started as a rapper..
then, while preparing fór their 2nd album, both of them again did their acting project through drama When a Man Falls in Love in 2013..
but then, JYP Ent. suddenly cancelling their next comeback n decided to push for a full boy group comeback (there's rumours where they need big money, hence, debuting big group) despite a successful debut of the duo..
so, they decided to do the 1st ever JYP Ent. vs YG Ent. trainee battle on 2013 (this is where Mark, Jackson, Bambam n Yugyeom [there's Young K from Day 6 too] compete against Winner n iKon)..
somewhere along the timeline, Youngjae miraculously joined the company n JYP decided it's a complete 7 members group now..
so yeah, BOOM!!!
Got7 finally debut on 2014..
since we've got 3 rappers already, that's how Jinyoung improved vocally to start as their sub-vocalist (of course now he can no longer be considered as "sub")..
n starting here, Jay B decided to only pursue his music career as he felt hs responsibility as a leader become bigger with more members n he personally didn't want to feel like he didn't give his all to his music career (of course, Dream Knight is an exception 🤪)
but he did say he'll try acting again once he felt satisfied with his musical achievement..
since JJ Project happened before Got7, that's why they didn't really feels the need to release new album, but all the OG fanz r from JJ Project era, they finally decided to surprise us 5 years later, where both of them have become a great composer 🥰
until now, Verse 2 is their fav album (excluding solo works) 🤗
Dream Knight, oh wow where lead Actor Jaebeom is everything, makes you cry eventually :'), Dream High 2 was his blonde hair era so gold LOL...I am missing actor Lim Jaebeom. Oh my...He was cute in When A Man Falls in Love too. (LOL that Drama was so intense but JJP gave that drama a lighter mood)

got7 debuted in 2014, but jjp debuted first just as a duo in 2012. the other five members were added to jjp to form got7. that's why jjp are known as the "parents" of the group

JJ Project actually debuted with "Bounce" in May 2012 almost a year and a half before GOT7 debuted in the beginning of 2014. JB is the oldest (in JJ Project), which is one reason why he is also the leader of GOT7. Because JJ Project is a duo, that means they also had to be rappers. They aren't rappers in GOT7 because GOT7 already have 3 members that specialize in rap, so JinYoung didn't need to rap in GOT7.
JB and JinYoung debuted first as actors in the sequel to the JYP produced K-drama called Dream High 2, which was a sort of Korean version of High School Musical about high school students who dreamed of becoming famous in the music and entertainment industry. Because of the drama JB and Jinyoung became pretty popular, so JYP decided to create JJ Project to capitalize on that.
"Tomorrow, Today" is so different from "Bounce" because "Bounce" was a song given to them by JYP before they had any say or input into what they wanted their sound or style to be. Where, "Tomorrow, Today" was 5 years later after they gained experience and knew what they wanted their sound and style to be like. They were able to chose and design this comeback way more than during their debut days. Which is why the album "Tomorrow, Today" is on is called Version #2 because they have rebranded themselves and changed what JJ Project was originally known for. This was supposed to be showing the new, more authentic version of JJ Project.
BamBam is a main dancer in GOT7 and he has been dancing since he was a child. He actually has been fairly famous as a dancer since he was 10 years old and he says he started wanting to be a dancer because his mom took him to see a Kpop concert in Thailand by her favorite artist Bi Rain, who is a legendary solo artist known for his dancing. He has competed in dance competitions and been on TV shows since he was young, which is one reason why he became a JYP trainee. At one point Rain was also under JYP.
JB is not the older in Got7 tho, that s has nothing to do with him being the leader.

I typically don't buy albums unless I like most of that particular album (regardless of if I'm a fan of the group or not) but I had to buy Verse #2 cause the whole album is so good! I feel like I needed the lyrics of Tomorrow, Today for my lost 30yo old atm. It's cool they promoted the song too. The album is all chill songs that are great for easy listening any time. I'm gonna go re-listen to it tomorrow...or today lol

JJP are literally the parents of GOT5 and just sad that Jinyoung will be away for a while but for sure once he come back for sure they will release something....
Edit: Didn't mention JayB's enlistment coz I still see him 😅✌🏻 Jinyoung's enlistment is different and much more strict... So we won't be seeing him as much as like JayB but hopefully Jinyoung gonna still be in touch with the members....
Yeah so many would already guess that the reason being JAYB only enlisted as a Social public worker is because he was diagnosed earlier with depression and panic disorder and we think he is still on his medications. So that's why we still see him because he's not contained inside the camp as a reserve soldier like Jinyoung. LOL for sure 101% they miss each other a lot. I think the reason why JAYB is also kind of active on Social media could partly be (I'm just guessing don't go after me LOL) because he wants people to not forget him (these are common anxiety concerns for idols who go through the enlistement period) That's why he released his HAITUS Album this year before he enlisted. And maybe also so that he won't miss Jinyoung too much LOL.

There was a competition within JYP. Jay B won first place and Jinyoung second. After that competition Jay b and Jinyoung were able to debut through a Kdrama called Dream High 2. Jay b had the main role and Jinyoung a supporting role. It came out in 2012. While the drama was airing they debuted together as JJ project with bounce.
