The AKG K92 headphones represent decent value for the price especially for beginners. What are your impressions of these headphones if you've used them?

when you say beginners, do you mean people that are just learning how to hear?

@@sandybeansconqueso no... I mean people new to music production

Thanks for a great review. I ordered a pair because they are dirt cheap here in China on Pingduoduo. I want them for general listening and to mix some guitar occassionally. I hope they fit, I have a big head.

Have been using one for a year by now...
They aren't comfortable with the exception of the light weight, they are in fact so hard to use during summer that putting toilet paper on the base of pressure help tons.
Sound out of the box is just bad, but improve after increasing the bass/tremble in a V shape.
Great thing about them is the price and how they endure for years without braking (hard to find repair videos cause of this)
They kind of sound amazing once they are tune, but regarding comfort and bad balance out of the box I wouldn't recommend them.
None the less they are way better than my previous cheap Logitech G231 headset and movies almost sound like in the cinema due to that close back eco and improved bass.
Note: They should be more around 30-40U$$ in USA, anything more than that and is better to avoid.
Audio Technica Athm 20/30/40x are a far better option, with hardly no complain regarding old user experience and they cost relative the same +some extra.

I agree with the 30x and 40x being better options.

They are great for gaming as well, however you need to use a third party program like banana to adjust it, reason why I think they are better than gaming headsets is that you get to customize and hear the kind of sounds that you want, instead of having just a prefixed modified value and having to work with those values.

Hey man! Loved the video and subscribed.
I have been considering these headphones for quite awhile and almost mustered up the money/courage to buy them when I saw your video, and I have a question for you.
For a price point similar or the same to these headphones, what would YOU consider to be the best pair for my money? I just want a pair of listening headphones, and I don't do any music creation or mixing or anything like that. Just to enjoy music with. Thanks!!

I have it for 3 years
Yes, it is good, but it falls in the lower middle category.
But the speaker is one thing, especially in PANING and Stereo Imaging.
You can use it for a while and later upgrade to better headphones or monitoring speakers.

@@amirhosseinjavadi1190Hey.. I have the K72 which is pretty similar to K92 and I see a lot of people saying they are terrible for mixing and mastering because of its frequency response. I dont have money to buy another pair of greater phones, do you think that with some EQ they can become usable? How do you use it?

Helpful review. I recently got an electric guitar with the Audient iD4 audio interface. I want to listen to guitar while I play and since I am a beginner, I am considering the K92. Will these work or should I go with something else?

I use an Audient iD4 myself and for what you want to do, the K92 will work just fine.

Dude can you review Oneodio pro50 headphones... ? I heard that they also have awesome sound quality. If you can compare them both, that would be very useful for me.

they sound like two traffic cones stuffed with sweaty socks!!! just awful headphones!
my old k99's sound like heaven in comparison, also k245's are better for mixing/mastering.
