With a variator and correct roller and springs, carbon fiber exhaust, lifepo battery and removing central stand, might keep up with other 125cc with better mileage better handling due to the lightweight. I like it
We in India do have Street Rally Version with new colors. I personally own the Grey Vermillion version and I could say it's one of the best scooter in 125cc segment. You can watch the video th-cam.com/video/8bBTpRQdcI0/w-d-xo.html
Ugh, 8hp and a rear drum at mid-£3k price? That's uncompetitive enough to be basically DOA. The Piaggio Medley 125 has a 14.7hp motor and dual discs and is going for £3300 peresently.
I posted that comment two weeks ago when the price hadn't been confirmed. £2300 is a much more suitable price, although I still wouldn't even consider buying one as that 8hp engine is just too weak.
@@drramtop1576definitely for 2,3k its worth it in my opinion. Here in London, to get to work and back... And do some Uber deliveries... Perfect option. :)
That one is the Ray ZR Hybrid, the common one doesnt have the Power Assist and is sold in Latin America and India. For Europe market there is a higher standard. Greets from Uruguay.
I ride a Street Rally version (not for you😊) here in Seychelles and it's brilliant on our small roads and especially around town. Using it every day. Made in India, good build quality. For Europe it might be just for around town. Indicated top speed some 60mph which is 56 on the gps
Still only 8 ponies. Is that really enough today? What are the saving by selling such a low powered bike? Everybody has to traverse dual carriageways these days.
@@mikehorton8603 No, the "boost" is just for initial pick up. All scooters are quick at that. What matters more is a reasonable top speed and Yamaha are very shy telling us what that is. With 8 hp I doubt it will be capable of much more than 50-55 mph.
the price has been confirmed in the uk and it is £2300
Thanks for the comment! We missed the mark a little!
Yeah it's a Perfect price... Lexmoto crap cost more ...
2.000 euros in Greece
2300 euro in Italy
In india price is around 1401usd 1283 euro

What do you expect from an air cooled engine😂

With the electric motor boost it should make up for the lower hp. It's aimed as a city commuter should handle that and A roads with no issues.
