I remember my Uncle ( Commander Bill Wheat ) talking about how they could feel each other flying that close. Always interested in the Blue Angels.Thank you.💙✨
I never knew the callsign of the blues from 1 to 6 i was always wondering and here it is bcs of this video i got it Boss, Rico, Trash, Stalin, Pushpop, Franz i hope you share Callsigns for the 2025 Team also TYSM
Technically Capt Armatas’ callsign is Scribe. It just switches to Boss for when he’s on the team (which he is no longer). Thanks for watching - glad it was helpful!
It should be noted that atmospheric conditions/ wind will dictate how close they will fly. I have had the privilege of watching the team for decades, sometimes the same team 5 or 6 times in different locations. If there are substantial surface winds, the diamond is loosened up a tad. Additionally, having dcs pc pilots giving explanations, I bounced. Gtfoh...
DCS is actually an extremely accurate simulator, and I would go as far as saying that people who have logged thousands of hours in DCS could probably jump into a real jet and do a pretty decent job
@@DiamondPaintWithDiamondDave Of course they would obviously have zero G-tolerance, but in terms of the stick and throttle movements and overall system knowledge they would be pretty proficient.
Hey Aerospace Horizons I was wondering if there is a way to contact you because I have an interesting business proposition a phone number or discord username to contact would be great.

Thanks for watching! That’s so cool your uncle is Cmdr Wheat!!
Great to hear some explanations of each maneuver by some guys that know the demo inside and out!
Thank you sir! Wanted to get expert opinions onboard for this one! 😁

Awesome video!!!
Thank you! Happy with how this one turned out. Was so fun to see the teams progression this year!
@ hope to see you around a bunch in 2025.
How come the Thunderbirds don't get the attention that Blues get. THANKS 😊
Ya know, I really want to fix that in 2025. Stay tuned!
That would be great 👍 👌
Hey Aerospace Horizons yesterday I commented on this video about a contact number and I think TH-cam took down my comment

@@jameshetfield3105 not to mention many DCS users are also retired fighter pilots...lol
DCS is entertainment. Real flying is something way different. Duh.
Sorry, this video is just way too long.
Sorry you feel that way! Thanks for giving it a shot. Maybe we’ll see you on the next one.
Great video! It's a keeper!
Thanks Ellen!
