Those normally came with a Gibson gig bag, bonus that it’s a nice case. A good friend of mine has one of those, it’s his main guitar and he has many more expensive guitars. Agree that it’s disappointing that you’ll need to do some fret work, but hopefully you enjoy the guitar after that. Personally, I think it’s worth paying for a proper setup and fret end cleanup. That’ll give you a good starting point from which you can maintain it yourself.
Do the frets yourself… take’s 5 minutes… take off the strings, file the fret ends rounded… you could even polish them and treat the fretboard while the strings are off… That happens from humidity change… I have 5 Les Pauls.. 2 being Standards… I also have one of those… I love it… definitely my go to guitar. For the price you got it with a case… you should be tickled…. I wouldn’t return it for a 20 minute set up job…
The neck and action excellent I didn't have to do anything except replacing the strings. As far as frets it is still super sharp (again this is 2017 model) when I played 2023 floor modelI fret work much better. So I will be polishing fret end myself - not a big deal, pretty easy to do with proper tools.
The neck frets was - super sharp, almost like on cheap guitars, I could probably polish them myself or take it to the Luthier but after I paid $1000 for it, I just don't feel like it, plus I can buy two nice guitars for that much money. Thank you for watching.

I am going Saturday to get my 22 Tribute. Did the frets correct themselves when the guitar acclimated?

I was going to get the cheap LP, but I don't think I will after seeing how quick you lost the enthusiasm for it.
