Imagine K. O.ing Ernesto Hoost, one of the best fighters ever, a living legend, three times. THREE TIMES!!! I remember him walking into gym(the one that he mention in this video) where i used to train... WOOW!!! I literally ran home to share that moment with my familly. I was so fascinated with this guy. He was so nice to all of us. So down to earth. He stoped to say hello to each and every one of us. Gave each of us few advices to perform better. When he left the gym we were all so hyped that you couldn't hear a single word from us. Just concentration and hard work. I must say this, the trainings we had were often up to 3-4 hours long. Till exhaustion...
But damn, i have never felt better in my whole life. Thank you mr. Cikatić for unforgetable moments in your gym. THANK YOU CROATIAN TIGER!!! May your soul rest in peace! 😪🇭🇷❤️💪

Branko K. O. Hoost 2 times (actually 3,the third one was a disqualifier, deserved tbh.), at age from 38-39(not sure), and at age 40.

My opinion is that Mirko just wasn't that big of a heavyweight ... Ernesto backed him up easily in their first two meetings because of the size difference.... In their third and last meeting, Mirko had more of a heavyweight approach - he used grappling tactics and tried to bully Ernesto back and stop his attacks. It at least helped not getting knocked out this time.
Maybe Branko was also just a better kickboxer, I don't know... But the fact it that Mirko didn't have the size and didn't have such a massive right hand (or left hand) like Branko.
@@Tourist-Q. I agree with you. But tbh, i believe that Branko was fearless, no matter who was he fighting with. And Mirko, in my opinion, was allways afraid to engage when fighting some harder oponents. For example, Fedor. Or in kick boxing Mike Bernardo, Ernesto etc etc.
Not to mention the abillity to endure some serious punches. Branko was waaaay resiliant in that area. To be clear, i have huge respect for Mirko's acchievements, and his whole carreer in general. But for me Branko will allways be nr. 1 fighter, sportsman, representative and character.

Branko passed away, he was tiger and trener of Mirko Cro-cap, Croation lion which was winner of K1 one time, but was legend of Pride.
najbolji trener ikada (ovaj koji mu na hrvatskom govori što da radi), "ruke gore", "poveži dva" - i ovaj poveže dva najbolja u povijesti.
The best trainer from the box, he said "connect the two kicks" and Cikatic did it in the best possible way. He won Hoost on two occasions, not sure if anyone managed to do that.

Da nije bilo Branka, onaj smraduljak Filipović bi još bio drukara u policiji iako ni tamo nije nikad radio jer su ga provalili vrlo brzo da je kokošar. A Japan i borilačke sportove bi vidio samo u filmovima sa Jackie Chanom
