I loved you on Drag Race Thailand so much!! You broke through the language barriers and were one of my favourites. Such amazing looks, but hilarious and talented too. It's so sad to see the situation in Singapore, but sending my love to LGBT people there.
i remember watching this months ago and seeing ur mother support you despite her initial shame made me burst into tears. i doubt i'll ever be able to handle coming out to my own malay muslim parents, but the thought that maybe they could come around and realise it never changes the love and care i feel for them, and that it doesn't have to change for them either. such a comforting and warm thought. thank u for this video.

I love RPDR so out of curiosity, I went to check out the Thai version after seeing so much hype about it (yassss sis all the awesome talents!!) . When I first saw you on Drag Race Thailand, I knew you look so damn familiar and i finally recalled that you were from Voguelicious!! That was over 10 years ago my goodness and even back then, I knew you were very talented as both a dancer & a singer. I’m beyond amazed and impressed that you’ve gotten this far! Don’t let the haters bring you down but soak up in all the love that will lift you higher! So proud of you, Izzy! Singapore represent!! Always remember them haters don’t pay your bills sis! I stumbled on this by accident and I'm glad I did. Such a courageous and beautiful person, leading a bevy of awesome queens. I never watched the Drag Race franchise before but after hearing about it here I checked out some of the TH-cam videos. I was amazed. I relate to you and your story-being that I'm nonbinary, pansexual and Muslim. I'm not exactly Malay but my family talks Malay. My maternal grandma, who's Muslim, prays, wears the tudong, and she doesn't know because I don't have the language to tell her I'm nb, in Malay you know hahha. My parents love and accept me, as well as my cousins, but my aunties and uncles know??? but I don't think they accept me. They still refer to me as a girl and she and her and I really want them to know and accept the true me. They're not heavily religious but some of them wear tudong and pray and I think they'll still refer to the quran when explaining why they don't accept me. Thank you for sharing your story

Drag queens usually call a 'she' and when out of drag people still can pronouns as a she or he.
@@s0neskim i've been into drag since 2005. i understand this, but i don't know what gender identity vanda is outside of drag.

@@s0neskim yeah i just never want to assume. some of the trans people i know have kept their male name but use female pronouns and id as women.
