What if you could build an app that allows patients to access and analyze their own medical data? In this workshop, Kevin Maloy, MD shows us how to build a patient app that pulls data from any Epic EHR (Electronic Health Records) system, which means nearly half of all health systems! This is made possible via “FHIR,” a standard for healthcare data exchange that is completely free to use!
    About Kevin:
Kevin Maloy, MD is an emergency physician as well as a software engineer. He is a veteran implementer of digital platforms, including AI. He specializes in developing interoperable health products, especially with the emerging FHIR APIs.

Great work. Cleared all doubts regarding the patient flow. Do you have any such demo for integrating the backend systems ?

this video was super helpful. thanks. Does anyone know if this process is the same for on-premise instances of Epic as it is for accessing patient records in the cloud?

@kevin This is a good video that helped a lot, 1 question: how can I get access to create observations and Clinical Notes in Epic(what is the process of paid service)?

This is super helpful! The link for the code to fork was giving me a 404 though. Is that expected now? I know this was made a bit ago.
