Mike, you absolute legend. I'll buy you a beer if I ever run into you :-) Edge Chromium had caused a huge issue on my PC (And others I now hear) with it periodically freezing. It even effected Google Chrome by causing that to show the error "waiting for cache" which googling that said to turn off cache for SSD's, but didn't help. So I un-installed thanks to your very clear and helpful video. I even got a pop-up from Microsoft asking why I was removing it. Google Chrome also had to be un-installed as that kept freezing after Edge was removed. Running Firefox now without an issue. Thanks to your video again I have also stopped it being re-installed. I should charge Microsoft for the new ram I purchased thinking it was that :-( The new Edge seems to have an issue with AMD's CPU's and SSD's (Only common thing I can find with peoples posts) Thumbs up! and subscribed... Thanks again Mike :-)

You're welcome!
Eureka! Finally got rid of it!
In case anyone else has this problem, encase path in single quotes, & enter. This gets you into installer. Then, instead of setup.exe type .\setup.exe, & then the rest of the command just as given.
Problem may have to do with using powershell instead of command prompt...
Good tip with PowerShell. You would need the ".\" to run the setup application. That's a PowerShell thing
Mike, you absolute legend. I'll buy you a beer if I ever run into you :-)
Edge Chromium had caused a huge issue on my PC (And others I now hear) with it periodically freezing.
I should charge Microsoft for the new ram I purchased thinking it was that :-(
The new Edge seems to have an issue with AMD's CPU's and SSD's (Only common thing I can find with peoples posts)
Thumbs up! and subscribed... Thanks again Mike :-)

Confirming that it still works March 2021!
Anyone who knows their way around the registry editor and command prompt, look in the description box for the information.
This is future proof...Until Microsoft sees this and removes it ;)
@@ACILearning Probably already have it patched in the next quarterly update, wouldn't surprise me if they begin blocking access to the registry editor on consumer editions of Windows in the future😝
Thanks for the update!
Thank you so much sir 🙏
