Thanks for the video tutorial. I had one replace at the Hyundai dealership first. After watching this, instead of paying $140 at the dealership, I paid only about $13 for the bulb and changed it in 5 minutes.
Thank you. Very helpful. As I struggled to it out, I noticed that the wires that go in on it, were loose, I put them back in. Good as new. Couldn't have done it without you
Great video to follow. The outer cap came off easily, but the inner black light bulb holder would not turn at all. I took a small short crescent wrench and used it lengthwise and seated it on the plastic center. This allowed me to turn it without damaging the black plastic holder.
Thabks for the video. Was helpful. Only point is that both the cap and the bulb needs to be turned COUNTER clockwise to loosen. The video he says the bulb is turned clockwise.
Thank you for being so detailed with your explanation. It was incredibly informative and helpful. I think I can definitely this without my husbands help now. 😁
Good vid, but Be careful - both plastic covers on my car needed to be turned counterclockwise to give access to bad bulb (not clockwise). Thanks again 👍
Question: I changed the bulb and my car computer still tells me that it's not working. I took it to Autozone where I bought the bulb, they tried another, new, bulb and it's still not working. They suspect a loose wire, any advice? @@ELDESTBuilds
Well , did my front brake pads in under 30mins but 4hrs and 2 grazed hands later I STILL can't get either bulb out..🤬🤬🤬. Had car from new and both low beam bulbs went within 10 mins of each other, so evidently there's a life expectancy built in. Going to make a 34mm 'socket' with notches cut in it to fit over holder and lock the 2 wings so I can just twist it....owners handbook makes it look easy....ANYTHING BUT. Bumper off NOT AN OPTION...🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
I'm having the same problem. Although, this video says turn clockwise and two other videos it says turn counterclockwise...I've already broken a little plastic piece on top of the light holder. Hopefully that's not a big deal for getting it off and back on. ugh.
Okay, got it done. It is counterclockwise turn to get it off. I managed to loosen it about 1/4 inch (maybe less), then put a flathead screwdriver against a rectangular hole and gentle tapped it with a hammer. Then worked it with my hand again, then tapped with the screwdriver again, then worked it with my hand again - back and forth like for a little, then was able to turn it and pop it out. I wore gloves with grippy rubber to help get a better grip and protect the hands and fingers. I was changing the driver's side headlight. To reach things a little better, I took the top off the fuse box. That may or may not be useful to you. I had to do the same thing to put it back on - use my hands initially, but then light tap with the hammer on a flathead screwdriver to get it to turn all the way on. Hopefully, all the headlights aren't on that tight, but gentle tapping may help loosen them up. Now for changing out the back windshield wiper. yay.
Thank you. Very detailed and easy to understand. I’m a 68 year old widow. Ima feeling accomplished! Easy peasy!!! Be blessed!
You're most welcome, I'm glad the video helped.

Good morning. Can you make us a video to clean the EGR valve please? Thanks champ.
I'll put it on the list
I notice your coolant is low. just wondering if its always get low? because my tucson does during the winter.
Thanks, yes I topped it off
Can you post the link for the link bulb you used ??
It was an H7 light bulb. Here is an Amazon link.
SYLVANIA H7XV-BP-TWIN Auto Part a.co/d/axgQuu6
Hi do you need to disconnect the battery to do this? Ty
I didn't disconnect the battery. As long as the switch is off, there's no power running to the bulb.
@@ELDESTBuilds awesome thank you. i changed it no problem!
thanks for posting this, useful
Welcome, glad it helps
🤙🏼🤙🏼 appreciate this. Wifey just got one of these and the light was out. Thanks!
My hand size will have issues with the bulb but I'll figure it out lol
Welcome
Took me a few moves to figure out the best position
Same bro
Very descriptive
Thanks buddy, I'm glad you liked it

Wow, they are on there pretty good but should just twist off. Maybe an oil filter wrench?
I'm having the same problem. Although, this video says turn clockwise and two other videos it says turn counterclockwise...I've already broken a little plastic piece on top of the light holder. Hopefully that's not a big deal for getting it off and back on. ugh.
Rotate towards the motor

@keenanmurray65 good job
Good video, but too much time spent on explaining how to open the bonnet, if they can't open the bonnet, they have no business under there.
Start at the beginning. It's a very good place to start.
@@ELDESTBuilds and it doesn't take that long to explain, so might as well.
