Max got done dirty here! Should have let him do the bsb reroll for the Lord, and Chosen are stubborn so would not have broken on first round of combat...
From a viewing perspective a game where as many of the rules as possible are remembered is much better than one where they're not. Given that you did remember the BSB reroll while it was easily still possible to 'restore the game-state' to what it should have been you really should have done that if you want people to enjoy it.
Hey guys! Thx for the vid, great game. I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but plz have a think about where you place the mic when recording these. It sounds like Max is closer to, or wearing the mic and those falsetto laughs and screams woke my kid when I was watching this. She was sleeping upstairs, behind a closed door. Again, not trying to be mean. Just a suggestion to help improve the quality of the videos making them a bit, shall we say more of gentle experience on the ears to watch.
So glad to see all those rank and flank infantry blocks on the table, ranks and flanks have retur…..oh wait….

The first turn looked about 90. It was the second add on that bumped it 😂😂😂
John would have got a full reform (though he should have taken a leadership test to do it) due to the Catching the Curs rule, rather than being limited to the 90 degree pivot from lumbering

Guys at 17:37 chaos lord was in cover when chariots shoot at him?
Another point at 1:26:13, I think in this case a fall back in good order move is “ away from unit with better unit strenght” in this case dragon. You you have to pivot in the center to face dragon a go away from him! :)
It doesn't look like the Chaos Lord would have been in cover, and even if he was the Tomb Kings always hit on unmodified ballistics skill anyway.
As for the fall back, you're right we were getting mixed up with give ground which would have meant the chaos lord would have moved diagonally

The Tomb King and his dragon is getting whittled down, why isn't the Hierophant edging up into range and regenerating him?
I love the Bone Dragon in the pool, but the outer edges look a bit too regular - bung some tufts at the edge might make it look more natural?
Playing with take-backs is so moronic. Even if it is a rule GWS is trying to push down our throats. It is only going to force folks to care multiple templates to move on the game table in place of their actual units while measuring and seeing lines.
So….the Sorceror Manticore rolled and got Frenzy but wasn’t obliged to charge?
