This videos answers so many questions I’ve been waiting to ask for when you arrive in Sydney! Too obsessed with head tucks and not seeing fish. Definitely sharing this one with the boys
Ripper vid Tim! How good are the multitude of Reid clips - im just glad he nailed a heap! Hopefully this years Mackay trip has as good weather and people! Thanks for the shoutout btw - Shrek
Think my favorite tip from a previous video of yours will remain - "remember its just a fish" there is a psychology to that, it will catch you more fish than you think, just remember that mantra every time you go down and see a good fish - its just a fish! Keeps you calm, keeps you focused and keeps you safe.
sharks across the globe - went to an old spot the other day in my neck of the woods, been there many times, got buzzed by bronzies before a fish was ever shot - mind you they do occur in the area but its very very unusual behavior to buzz divers in the shallows without fish and then we saw 3 more cruise a short stretch of beach, high concentration of sharks for my area.
I think the angle of the footage is deceptive but I can see what you mean. Carrying a speargun tucked in like this is a more hydrodynamic way to carry it but takes some getting used to especially moving a loaded gun right in next to your body. I don't think that the spear was ever pointed at any part of his body though and I agree that it never should be.
Can’t celebrate until it’s in the icebox, hard lesson to learn! Great stuff Tim. Looks fun out there!
Cheers Dan!! Slightly warmer than where you have been last couple years and stacks of fish!
@@Spearfishing-Downunder what are you talking about? I was in 28ºC water in Greece last year, 30m visibility and loaded with fish... lion fish!

Enjoyed these last two found them helpful cheers Tim 🤙
Mackay area, some great spearfishing. Good low vis skills are needed for those that can't make it out to the reef.
Yes totally
Hope one day I cab make it up there for an inshore dive!!

Sooo very true!!
If that’s 1770, those red throat are pretty tricky in the shallows. Bomb diving actually works really well out there especially with some burley.
I know I’m weird but I LOVE eating batfish. They are one if the tastiest fish in the sea and I would be thrilled to exchange one for a coral trout. 🤣
Editing new videos and still no cooking tips for old mate Jarrod that can't stomach the drummer bro. 😂😂
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

This is definitely similar to what people are seeing all over Aus!
I have a concern how this guy is holding a speargun, he can shoot himself 4:20
